not cosplay, but their actual own attire/dresses (fashion) .
@@incog_nemui Many cosplayers used to hang around round the corner in Yoyogi Park on Sundays, but I don't know if they still do that. Regarding fashion, between by first trip to Japan in 2005, and my third in 2015, there seemed to be far fewer people walking around anywhere in those 'very Japanese' fashions.
It's the nature of where she was. It reminds me of Times Square in NYC where it would go equally unremarked.
Never been there myself but I believe they also have some maid cafés in that area, so probably not unusual, although there's a camera chasing her, so someone is gonna take a look at one point.

Totally agree. I finally did go to see Band-Maid live at Tokyo Garden Theater in January 2023, they are an amazing live band. Tokyo is a well organized city, me and my wife fell in love with Tokyo and Japan on the spot. Highly recommended to go there. BTW I'm going back in July to see Band-Maid again at Zepp Shinjuku, I'm so happy Po 🙂 Greetings from Norway

If anyone plays those final fantasy games the is a character called Koruppo. The character is it is something cute like Miku. Miku is very smart, cute, always happy and very talented. The very good example is she knew that her voice was not powerful for a rock band so she found saika and concentrated on improving her rhythm guitar.

I want a channel that is all just Miku trying on cute outfits.
How the hell is this girl the mastermind behind Bandmaid, the one who put this group all together!
The band said that on the outside she's cute but on the inside she's an old man (she eats lots of dry fish apparently). When she's out of character she's completely normal and probably very clever and smart. Maid cafes make there employees do dances and dumb shit probably for not that great of pay, especially in your 20s. So she probably took the kawaii she learned at the cafe and decided she'd start a band. She probably made a contact, she's a lot older than people think. I bet she's made over a mill by now. And I bet the pay is secret because she makes more than the rest of the band lol.
After watching several videos and researching about her.
Fristly she joined to An Idol Group, relased a single. But her Idol group doesn't get success. I think part of Kobato always wanted to be an Idol. She try doing a Idol Life within Band-Maid!
It's all a gimmick. Her presence of mind and ability to stay in character is a testament to how frigging smart the girl is. She gave us one of the best all-girl groups I've ever heard, then got them gigs and promos around the world. They're in anime now. I can't see any of the other members doing what she does.
There is obviously a disconnect for people who are not familiar with Japan or their idol culture. If your from the West, you must disconnect from all the preconceived notions you have about music.....Japan is it's own thing....wheels off most of the time....what is normal everywhere else is trumped by Japan's uniqueness and musical innovation. Miku is, first and foremost, an idol. Yes, it is a gimmick, but it is a gimmick that she is trained for. Everything from her look to her overflowing kawaii....it is all part of Japan's idol culture. Japan's idol culture is a celebration of youth and cuteness. She is the "face' of Band Maid. She is idol beautiful and is extremely marketable.
@@rednab2001 Exactly. Band Maid is a Japanese band built for a Japanese audience and Japanese cultural aesthetic. People forget that and try to apply Western cultural values to them. Sometimes that simply doesn't work. Culture shock is a real thing. That westerners connect to their music is a testament to how good they are.

So, what happens if Miku doesn't say "Po" every few seconds? Is it like in "Speed," where the bus will blow up if it goes under 50 miles per hour? If she fails to say "Po" at least once per minute, she...instantly gains 50 pounds or...something?
FAR worse than gaining 50 lbs I'm afraid. What happens if she forgets to say 'ppo!' you see is, she forgets how to play guitar, loses the ability to help write even a mildly good song, loses her voice to the point it needs auto-tune, and starts doing ridiculously inane choreographed dancing on stage while lip-synching gibberish. And we all know what those mean.
