i’ve started to wear lolita in the summer after many years of avoiding it by waiting until the sun goes down, twintails, and most importantly hoop petticoat.
I remember answering these questions to you, Rinrin in Angelic Pretty Paris 3 years ago 😁. I really enjoyed this "fashion check"! It's always good to be able to see many people with their style all around the world.
One question I have is, what are your thoughts on using a hoop skirt instead of a traditional petticoat in the summer? I’ve heard that hoop skirts are cooler for summertime but they are hard to sit in! I like the idea of a parasol or sun umbrella. Super cute and would help prevent sunburn! Someday I will go to Tokyo, but I want to be at least somewhat proficient in Japanese first! I love watching your videos and picking out Japanese words I know from the conversation!
Hi RinRin! This was delightful and a wonderful taste of some Harajuku fashion ideas. You gave some great advice on styles and most importantly heat prevention! I love it! I’d love to know about favorite Autumn activities next time. 🙂

So what do you think? Its like an alternate dimension or timeline. Underappreciated in this current time, an Elizabethan era feeling. Wait you just showed up on nhk, wearing the blue dress. How was everyone's cute summer look? Amazing, so much and so many overlapping details. Impossible to appreciate it all in the short time. This era is so on the go, this beauty gets past by to fast. Thanks for capturing it. The effort, like the angel ear ring's and lace cuffs must be a labour of love. Fashion check, you should go on fashion patrol LOL. Find some one and give them a make over. A sarcastic parody of the fashion police, put the perpetrators in cuffs and take them to get made up. Hand out tickets (just a flyer with tips, links to shows and shops) Rio, it's just hot. How long does take to put these looks on? It seems like a lot of work. It would be interesting to see a show where you go through each step of the process to put this look together. Forgive me if you already have, you have so many shows and I've been busy with the daily details of earning issue's. I puke kawaii, that's the problem having such super kawaii. You could be dying, and everybody would be like, she's so cute. My kawaii addiction is at least 1/2 your fault. We can sort that out at the temple, anytime. Definitely a process and worth it. Edit = Vitalic > No Sleep. I woke up to the blue dress kawaii int show night broadcast earlier this week. I woke up to this show the other day right when you posted it. Then when I post this, your on NHK in the blue dress again. Processed like the 2 become 1 video.
I'm confused, while reading the English captions Japanese girls would occasionally use English words for quite common things universal in Japan or in English speaking countries, words like' Lip Stick', or 'braids' (and other terms). I struggle with it because i don't understand why Japanese would use English for something that most certainly must have a Japanese equivalent. Quite confusing - is this just a popular affectation ?
Because it might be fun or have a nice sound, or a nuance or be used more often in a certain context. Japanese has 10% loan words that have become varying degrees of totally nativized. It's like saying clean versus sparkling in English, they can potentially have the same literal meaning, but I might choose one that has a little more color to it.
@@evat267 English has a big footprint indeed but I sense technology coming up from behind as another commonality among nations. We may not yet be able to converse in technobabble but - never say never.
