Hey just wondering how do you get 2000 running again I'm trying to but I guess I need a new app or a download of something I need to put in there everything is so new today just wondering what I need to do to get 2000 or 2000 . Or 2002 running on my PC HP pavilion I7 G force 1060TI hope you can help me thank you very much.
You can run Flight Simulator 2000 and 2002 with modern systems quite well. Just install it from the disk if you have one, alternatively you can download the disk images from the internet. Then you just need to make sure your in-game overlay is disabled in GeForce Experience and FS2000 should start. If you are using a resolution over 1080p (so for example 1440p or 4K monitor), you need to use dgVoodoo to enable higher resolutions. This video was recorded on Windows 10 with dgVoodoo enhancements such as anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering.
Thanks! I run it in Windows 98 compatibility mode with the NVIDIA in-game overlay disabled and it works quite well with Windows 10. I also use dgVoodoo to use a modern 16:9 resolution, anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering with it.
@@SimulatorsI’m on Windows 11 and the game doesn’t work for some reason, on an Intel i5-8600K and GTX 1060. It wasn’t working for me before on 10’s 21H2 which was the issue.
@@Simulators The splash screen does show up, but the game will not progress past that point. Even with a no-CD .exe the game will not boot up, regardless of which patch installed for FS2000 (I’ve tried unpatched and patched).

I have it running on a windows Xp laptop I got on Amazon for 80$.I don’t think it runs on modern sytems
