Great video! I am a rep for Shark Helmets and I could not have done better job. The helmet is amazing on the track as you stated. Very quiet and snug for performance. Ventilation is awesome and adjustable for hot or cold days. No buffeting at speed and great visibility. I wish we had some guys wearing this in MotoAmerica but hopefully, that will change soon. I am In between sizes 56.5 on the dot. would you recommend staying in size small or just going towars the medium. since the S and M have the same shell im leaning towards the M. the arai corsair rx-7, I run a small and it fits perfect nice and snug. but I feel this is more aggressive race fit.
The fit of this is a little more aggressive than the Arai. Start with the medium and wear it in the house BEFORE you ride in it to make sure you are happy with the fit. If you need to return for a small that is not a problem if you do not ride in it. - Van
The only bad thing is that is doesn't come with pinlock the visor is really easily scratched on the inside. During rainy days I experience it fogging up. Otherwise, this is the best helmet I've had. The others that I've tried are shoei gt air 2 and bell race star.
The Pista has the absolute largest eyeport on the market. It is so big it is almost too big for many. I feel the eyeport on this Shark is excellent. - Van
I’m really thorn between this and the Scorpion exo r1 air… could you advice which would be best? The Exo R1 i really like it because of the fabio quartararo design and inflatable cheek pads.. while the thick visor and that huge spoiler on the shark leads me to believe it would be more aerodynamic and quiet then the exo r1, would mostly use on the street with a few times a year on track. ( Currently I own a AGV Corsa R but it was a stretch when ai bought it as the shape is not best for me.. now I put some weight and can’t even close my mouth properly so time to change probably something less pointy🤣Thanks
This and the EXO R1 Air are both excellent helmets. I would say the Shark is a little nicer as it should be considering the large price difference. The shield is nicer on the Shark and it will be quieter. Only you can decide if this is enough to justify the difference in price. - Van
Even though the levers are in the locked position,the right side of my shield tends to slide out of place everytime I try to shut the visor down. Anyone else have this issue?
Hi Brian ! I need your opinion again. this or x-fourteen for semi naked bike? mostly fast street riding, no track days. I have rf1400 already but want to buy second helmet for better stability also don't want to gave up on noise isolation. both helmets fits my head well. I had race r pro carbon few years back which didn't impress me, was riding 675r with db screen. is that spoiler adds so much of performance ? I think the liner, chin curtain and neck pad has a little improved over time but how it compares the stable x-fourteen?

Hey Brian, I’m considering buying this helmet to replace my HJC RPHA 11 which is a size S (55-56)…so my question being should i go for the same size with this one too? I don’t have the option to try it out in store so I’ll be importing it to my country…cheers..!!
IMO the HJC RPHA 11 runs a touch to the big side. Not enough that most need to change sizes, just a little large. I would suggest taking a good measurement and ordering the corresponding size using the Shark size chart. I find this helmet to run true to size, just a little smaller than the model you noted. - Van

Great helmet, but my only complaint was I felt like I couldn’t breath well in it
Shark uses the largest chin curtains in their race helmet. With the previous model I ended up modifying the chin curtain to open this area up. - Van
