Kenya's Potato Research Center

KALRO's Potato Research Centre KALRO-Tigoni mandate includes coordination of potato research throughout Kenya. The Centre also has a regional mandate for floriculture.
Potato research activities include breeding; agronomy; crop protection; post-harvest storage; food processing and socio-economics.
Floriculture activities include germplasm evaluation; agronomy, crop protection, postharvest handling, and marketing.
