I don't agree this is just a "high end demo" though. We have a small but dedicated group of people that already regularly play it competitively at a high level. Sure, the meta is evolving and stuff as more patches and characters come out, but there are already a group of people that have plumbed the depths of this game and there is a TON to plumb already.
Appreciate your response! Perhaps my comment on calling it, "little more than than a high end demo," sounded a bit reductive and dismissive of the amazing work Kubold & Co. have put in the game. This was not my intention. As you mention, the game is incredibly deep in its current state and offers said niche communities a chance to dig into the game within the game! However, this video, and my "Game & Tell" series as a whole, is aimed at those who don't know or know very little about the highlighted games I cover. I do almost nothing but praise the game in this video, but I made the statement in question because I wanted to emphasize that this game is far from finished/fully polished. I love this game to death but it is Early Access, which is essentially a paid demo of a game. You pay to show your support and the dev gets funding while working in tandum with players to get direct feedback on their game before hitting Full Release. Perhaps I should have worded it better (I agree), but I still would have tempered the expectations of new players that are interested with a similar statement. Hope that clears things up :)

Can the game be played with a controller?
Yes! I'd personally say the game is BEST played with a controller/gamepad or Fightsticks. But the Mouse & Keyboard controls are fine as well :)
