- Productive summer, my to do list - Benita Larsson. Here in Sweden everyone gets at least 5 weeks vacation from work every year and we're encouraged to take four consecutive weeks off.
I have six weeks a year and normally I'd take the recommended four weeks and do a mix of travel, staying home and doing outings in my home town of Stockholm.
The travel part didn't happen this year. Instead I decided to check off my to do list in a major way.
I get so many questions about the things in my apartment and what I like and wear so I've collected links for many of them below.

This is absolutely awesome. My inklings from this video suggest that productivity not only safe costs, but also add to one's skill sets. I observe at least three major tasks that, if outsourced could have been at a cost, albeit relatively less satisfying to intended result: Painting, Sewing, Book binding,

That radiator cleaning trick was brilliant. I've been wondering how to clean the inside. Although my top cover slits are narrower than yours I think if I get a small enough brush this should still work!!! thanks for sharing.
Someone else in the comments mentioned that the ends could possibly be removed and that way i could get inside. Might be worth investigating on your radiator too!
Lovely video! Purrfect assistant, lol. :) Oh, how the US needs to take note on the vacation...among other things they need to take notes on. Many are lucky if they get vacation time.
What I love (sarcasm) is if you do have vacation here in the states it’s seen as an imposition to ask to leave. Like an inconvenience. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve felt or been made to feel sorry for vacation - and then you just come back to chaos.
@@solabonafide Agreed. And sometimes people aren't even using that vacation time for a vacation. Many of my family used it for moving, or having kids (no maternity leave here then either), or being sick pre-Covid, or a myriad of other "must take time away from work" issues but needed their pay, too.
Sasha yup!!!! I used mine to move one - how fun! And also omg even sick time is hard to get. I was once in the hospital with severe salmonella poisoning and HR at my former employer fought me because it was before my probation period wasn’t over and it was summer and they didn’t trust me - thought I was on the beach. I was green in the ER. Such 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
It is mad that the USA is considered a “first world country” when they treat the people who live their so poorly.

I do that too, add things to my list that were not on there, so I can cross them off. lol
It doesn’t feel done to me if I use my phone - ticking something off a physical list is much more satisfying! I also add things I’ve just done to my list so I can tick them off too 😁

Great video Benita - I agree with you about writing a physical list as opposed to a digital list . I LOVE my written lists ...I believe it’s because m as creatives ,we are visual people and the physical act of writing on a list stimulates that in us . I also enjoy ticking off things I have managed to complete ...it’s a great feeling

I get 6 weeks A/L in London plus bank Holidays so nearly 40 days in total.
We definitely need time off work to be able to do our best work!

Ha! I'm a list maker/lover as well and also add things that I've already done to the list just so I can cross them off.
I just finished painting my bathroom so I decided to relax and watch a couple of your videos. I've been saying out loud to myself for 2 days, 'oh well if I missed anything, I'll give it a lick of paint afterwards'. Made me laugh when you said it in the video. You're a very neat painter!
