In Bharat, people do bhakti by playing ramleela . They make [the effigy of] the enemy, Ravan and kill him. They kill him every year. Then, he keeps taking on a bigger form every year. They should at least think: when we have killed him once, he is finished. When we have burnt him, he should be finished. Then, why do we keep making [his effigy] bigger [each year]? Now, it has come in the intellect of you children. Why do they make it bigger [each year]? Where does its shooting take place? This shooting is going on now, in the Confluence Age world of Brahmins. The more you Brahmins burn Ravan each year, the more you burn him into ashes with new arrows of knowledge, he takes on a more fearsome form each year and stands in front of you. He keeps degrading your stage. So, they play Ramleela as a yaadgaar and burn him every year. Even in that, in which city is Dussehra celebrated very grandly? Mysore. There are different categories of Brahmins among the Brahmins as well. There are the Brahmins belonging to highest category as well as the lowest category. The Brahmins belonging to the lower categories turn a deaf ear to what the Father says. They keep coming under the influence of the other religious gurus. They can’t be called Suryavanshii as they come under the influence [of others]. Will the Suryavanshii Brahmins follow only the Sun or will they follow others? They follow only the Sun. This is why, there is a city named mai (I) suurya (sun) in the path of bhakti. People celebrate Dussehra very grandly in that Mysore. It is certain that such Suryavanshii children would have finally turned the effigy of Ravan to ashes. Once the final [burning] takes place, there won’t be any need to make [that effigy] again and again. (VCD No. 1101)
