    Just converted my set up to dry, cleared alot of things up for me. I appreciate the effort you put into these.

      I take it you're not on stock injectors then

    • @alanmorgan8431

      No. Stock injectors wouldn’t have ran it on motor

    I liked that at the end with the weird “show” reference. Pretty spot on

    Thanks so much for the help its great to see it page by page in front of you instead of trying to read and decipher these things from a book!

    Life saver!! Had to treat my 2 step for my clutch just like the transbrake input 1

    Being able to run a dry kit with the Holley and having a progressive controller built in with a window switch and everything is crazy…I’ve been trying to decide on doing a turbo or nitrous build for my f body and I’m really leaning towards nitrous after seeing what Holley can do with nitrous.

    Devin can you make a good nitrous plug reading video for newbs including proper staging procedure . I don't have a clean neutral on my reverse manual valvebody so I have to go back down through the gears

    I currently run a stand alone direct port nitrous wet system with progressive and a stock ECU looking to make a switch in doing so would it be better to change my injectors to be able to handle a dry shot or to keep the wet system and tie into the fuel rails and loose the stand alone tank

    Great video. I’m trying to add a second kit but my files only show 1 system any advice on adding additional kits?

    How does the purge feature work? Does it just PWM the purge solenoid changing frequency over time as long as you have the button pressed? Assuming the button provides a ground to an allocated input.

  • @bruizer28
    @bruizer28 ปีที่แล้ว

    If I am pulling a total of 17 on the progressive but decide to leave at 60% should I be starting that timing table at 60% of 17 degrees at 0 seconds? I tried changing it to 10degrees when I left at 60 and the truck fell flat on its face and I limped down the track.

  • @reid8301
    @reid8301 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great video as always Devin. If Running multiple progressive stages. For your example if you wanted the second stage to come on when your first stage hits 100% would you start your time axis at 2 seconds.

    I am wiring in now could you explain how to wire black/yellow for input and output?

    Why do you use time, dose the rpm not overlay? I'm trying to understand the time thing. I can look at rpm with a better understanding to where I'm at. With Time I feel like I'm guess where the car will be on the track at that given time.

    i am getting a large rich spike after letting go of the brake but about .174s into run. how do i get that out?

  • @slows102
    @slows102 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    So for the fuel enrichment it doesn't matter what size injectors you have? I'm so confused on that part....I have 1000cc injectors so 100% duty cycle would be too much fuel for say a 175 shot? Or am I way off

  • @modifiedz0695
    @modifiedz0695 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    If you’re using the closed loop function, do you still need to populate the fuel enrichment table?

    One question what disable the nitrous? Is the tps going below 90%

  • @courtneymtitus

    For starters, what I don’t understand is that my nitrous kit specs say that the fuel pressure should be at 6psi. When I ran a carburetor, this was easy. Now that I am running a Super Sniper EFI, the fuel pressure is 60psi. Can anyone explain how the NOS kit can work with my Sniper EFI?

    • @RealSteelStreet
      @RealSteelStreet 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Why wouldn’t you just run it dry and let your injectors add the extra fuel (as long as you’re not going over you’re hp limit or duty cycle per whichever Sniper and/or Super Sniper you’re running 650hp/1250hp)? That’s the whole beauty of EFI with nitrous 🤷🏻‍♂️
      However, if you’re just more comfortable with the wet kit supplying both then they make much smaller orifice fuel jets that are sized per your specific fuel psi…that’s the difference between an EFI wet kit and carb wet kit👌🏼
      Basically, you need the fuel jets for a higher pressure EFI kit instead of your jets for a lower pressure carb kit OR run it dry.

    Begging for help buddy! Reverted back to this old video to confirm i hadnt missed something, and i had not.. Yet my nitrous table will not sweep when conditions are met.
    It has me stumped.. Ive posted the file on Joe Simpsons Tune the trilogy Facebook group thing. Pretty sure all those guys are stumped as well.
    If you could find it in your kind heart to give it a look before i give up and build my own advanced tables id greatly appreciate it!!!

      It’s probably your clear flood percentage
      Move clear flood to 99% TPs and your nos enable to say 30 percent to test key on engine off

      @@theholleyefiguy I have tested with clear flood at 100% will 100% cause conflict?

  • @rick3446
    @rick3446 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm confused. You have 4 for lean cutoff and 20 for rich cutoff. They should be the other way around unless you haven't set them yet :)

    • @theholleyefiguy
      @theholleyefiguy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      theyre not set and disabled in this example

  • @slows102
    @slows102 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I follow everything but the fuel enrichment part....doesn't that depend on the amount of nitrous your spraying? You never said how much nitrous this example tuneup is spraying. I was told add 30-40lbs per hr per 100hp of nitrous.

    • @theholleyefiguy
      @theholleyefiguy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thats correct and I won't touch on how much to enrich the tuneup based off of how much nitrous cause there is too many variables
