After finishing both variations of the X challenge and defeating the Enraged versions of both maverick hunters, I can gladly say in confidence that 6-3 (2) is not only the most difficult level in both versions but the worst design level I have ever played. I’ve heard fair argument why X& Zero’s 90 degree exploit is kinda lame, but for this level, I swear without manipulating ZN’s AI, its impossible; truly. This is the Sole reason why X challenge volume 2 is inferior, without it , its better than volume 1. Fuck 6-3 (2).
For me, it's one of my favorite stages because it was a good challenge. I think I hate 9-3 of Vol. 2 more then every other stage because of the RNG of Gate, haha
Demulant I can understand that completely because Gate is the worst boss in any of the X games by far, but in that levels defense, you have decent weapons at your disposal to deal with the orbs (unless he shot them upwards) like M. Rain, C. Sting, S.Body, not only that but, dynamo is not that big of a threat compared to ZN’s partner; Psycho Sigma who deals just as much damage and has the randomness of the blue wave attack which has ended my run plenty of times when going for it. On top of that, phantom dynamo is a joke and he can be manipulated to go on what side you’re the opposite from. In summary, 6-3 imo is awful, but its perfectly fine if you like it. 9-3 (2) is awful as well but I prefer it over Iris and double and phantom colonel at least in terms of the question “Ok, what pair goes down quicker so I can get a shot at the maverick hunters again?” I usually go for gate and dynamo.
What sort of sorcery is happening against Nightmare Zero in this video!? Man... This fight is brutal... Do you have any particular ways of manipulating Zero or Sigma? I know I need to be above Zero when he appears in the corners but man... Sigma is in my way more often than not. Or Zero does his buster spam attack...

No, there is not a challenge against them... I think someone made a costum mode for that fight!

I guess because as with every X5 boss, their weakness leaves a lot of invincible frames, which makes it actually slower to kill some of them
