We have 2 yorkies sisters. Phynyx is the fiesty and cuddly protector. Pixie is the energetic barker one. Love them both to pieces.
We have two Yorkies. Brother and sister, 8 1/2 years old. Addie is the sweetest thing and her brother,Raider, is the protector. Always aware of what’s going on. We are proud parents.
Our little Bindi is so incredibly smart, good natured, funny, full of vigor and is an all around delight. She has NEVER been yappy and we can take her anywhere, Into the finest restaurants and you never hear a peep from her. We can’t imagine life without this little charmer.
I used to bring my Yorkies with me to movies and restaurants. He knew the deal was to stay quiet. I am getting ready to but another Yorkie soon.
We rescued an abandoned Yorkie when our sweet little long-haired, rescued chichuhua passed. Our hearts were broken! The rescue let us know that, even though it was only 6 days since our Annie died, she had a yorkie who was sweet and perfect for us. This Yorkie filled the hole left in our hearts left by Annie's passing. Teddy is wonderful and is a character who we love and has been entertaining us for the past nine years. Love the dog, love the breed, The most precious breed in the world!
We had a Yorkie for 14 yrs and 12 years ago he passed. We were so heartbroken. Yorkies are a big dog in a little body! They make a big impact in your life, are so smart and need lots of attention. We are now waiting for our new Yorkie addition! So excited! She’s coming home 2nd week of June ❤️
We have a 4 year old Yorkshire Terier, loved to bits, loves children and very clever. The only issue is feeding, only eats what she wants, treats more than anything. But she is amazing the best friend you could ever want. 💓

I am a Yorkie owner....Lucas Bradford Yorkshire "Luke" is a rescue who was found in the middle of December in the cold rain malnourished and in bad shape... I got him on December the 16 which was the day my first born child, a boy, was stillborn. We named him Lucas Bradford. 😥

First time caring a Yorkie 5 months old already...
I used to have a sheltie type of dog, and I really did like her but everywhere we went she attracted so much attention and she became so shy as everybody lunged at her to pet her. If I get another dog it will be a Yorkie as there similar in temperament and they so love their humans, too, and being smaller I can hide her away better from the people who would bother her, too....

My Yorkie Ben is 8 months old a rescue from Tennessee 89 % true York 11 % other terriers. He is tall and very active. I worry cause he's a jumper from high places. I've always owned rescues but this one is so loving and cuddly. He is my first. What is the best food for his breed. He eats science diet. Any ideas.

I have two Yorkies. Both females. The older one is six and the younger one is two. She is a rescue. Her breeder wanted to put her down because she has a luxating patella. So I asked for her
The problem is they don't like each other. They actually fight and draw blood. Please help!
I've got a thoroughbred Yorkshire Terrier. He's now nearly 13 and only has three legs due to a cancerous growth on his back leg.
I've found it amazing how unfazed he is by having a missing leg. He still chases balls and cats with the vigor he had when he had four legs.
He's over 9 kg. I thought he couldn't be a real Yorkshire Terrier, but he is what's classed as a giant Yorkshire Terrier.
He's the size they used to be before they were bread to teacup size.

I’m a new parent of a beautiful 2 month old Yorkshire she’s black and tan, she used the wee wee pad with no problem she doesn’t bark only when she’s playing or trying to get my attention if I stop playing with her she’s very quiet and calm so far 🙏🏾😅. She’s very adventurous so I was told to put a bell on her and it helps because I can hear where she’s is or goes 😊she so beautiful I’m tempted to spoil her but I will NOT be doing that don’t need any problems. Question can you give me the name of a few insurance companies that is best suited for the breed needs I’m in NY, and where can I find a xx small carrier, I’ve tried Amazon , pet stores and other stores but there too big can you help me please. Thanks for telling us about your Yorkie; I can only imagine the cuteness. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with your state. For insurance, I suggest checking out ASPCA Pet Insurance; they have affiliate insurance companies and may be able to assist.
I did and I now have Fetch insurance , thank you for help also I take her to the ASPCA clinic for her shots and checkup’s less expensive because I’m on disability, and I have Medicare . Again thank you 🙏🏾.

SO! My YT name is Miss Bucket, pronounced Boo-kay and although a very slim Purebred, she weighs 10 to 11 pounds, and barks at anything that moves. Very obedient 9 yr old princess, who is extremely friendly. Vet says weight is normal?

Are they good service animals in public everyday
They are good medical alerts for epileptic seizures and drop in glucose levels. Training required just like any other dog for public behavior.
Number 11 is soo important. Young children and kids don't mix.
Number 12/13 are also very important.
Number 14 need this information for people who think you having a yorkie is laughable. Their big dog is better.
Have to let them know yorkies are cool, working dogs, just small.
I have a yorkie who loves to fetch for his toys. I notice when he fetch for his toy 3/4 times he will become very winded so, I will have him to stop playing sit on his sofa to calm down. After stopping him to rest he begins coughing with a horse sound, is that somethin he need to be checked by the vet?
I would take him to the vet and talk to him about it! Could be problem with his Esophagus. I know ours if he drinks to fast he has problems sometimes. Love our little guy he is my service dog. He knows when My PTSD or atrial fib gets out of wack and warns me! Plus he is easy to take along on trips or just around the house. Don’t have this huge dog with big messes!
