Just watched the CLK GTR video yesterday, I've got to say I'm loving these videos of the GT1 homologation based vehicles, such unique powerhouses with looks that are timeless.
This content is genuinely more addicting than cocaine. Thank you for giving us such detailed access to such legendary motor cars that many of us will never have the opportunity to see in real life, let alone experience to this level. Thank you, and keep up the mega work!

Lots of videos of guys hooning around in one of these but nothing like this where you get a feel for what it's like to live with something as special as this. It's a privilege to see this.
Filmed so well I could feel the precision of the gear shifter. I watched this with my Autoart 1:18 scale GT1 sitting right next to my TV where it lives and didn’t realise how perfect the GT1 is. The leather, steering wheel design, and just everything is so beautiful.

Wow. So much easier to live with than CLK GTR. Love em both.
The fact that the legendary GT1 is under miscellaneous, along with the Carrera GT, is almost insulting to the car! It should be labeled legends. Great video mate. These videos are pure pornography for motor heads

I thought about the same. The mercedes needs 4 man to remove the engine cover which is ridiculous. I see more people actually use the Porsche for driving than the CLK. Thats a clear indicator what a car Porsche really built back then.
Just discovered this, very cool to see some real life practical usage info on car that I'll never own. But now I can look knowledgable when I see them in Monterey in August.

Mr. James Cottingham along with Dr. Mark Felton,(who produces very fine documentaries about World War II,) are both excellent instructors. James has so much knowledge and patience in these great videos, and it shows. It also shows that the average daily driver is a poor excuse compared to the monster that the Porsche GT1 is. We are in debt to DK for these well done videos. Keep them coming, Gentlemen!
I'm so glad that we have DK to give these amazing legendary cars the attention and care that they deserve, whether that be restorations or refreshing. Would be cool to see some JDM stuff here seeing as they're getting so valuable!
These videos are fantastic and it’s clear that they have an intimate knowledge of these cars but I do physically wince whenever someone shuts a bonnet like that! 😁
Such a beautiful car. I remember when Tiff Needell said it looked like “a squashed 911”. Many memories of this car in anger chirping away down the straights. Lucky owner!
More of these!!! They're so great, even with cars that aren't as rare. I enjoy startup procedures and switchgear, hard to find the sounds of a car that's rare.
Bookmarked this video. It may become useful in my next life
One can hope 🤞
Good luck with that
Good idea.

Outstanding.
If you ever get lucky enough to get your hands on a Rover 100, I'd love you to give it same kind of video coverage.

10:52 Ouf, the sound of those gear shifts.
I remember this car from NFS Porsche 2000. Best car in the game, next to 2000 911 turbo.
The sounds on these german cars REALLY make these videos. Very crisp noises, no background hum. It's like an asmr video for men. lol
I'm so glad yt put this channel in my feed. It's quickly become a favorite.
13:40 omg that sound. So many NFS Porsche Unleased memories started to flooding back

Now I know what to expect when I get my own 911 Gt1! Thanks!

Just stunning preservation work on this classic. Looks factory fresh!

What an amazing shift action! Tons of 993 and loads of familiar gear from my 996. Amazing on the move!
High quality channel with fantastic demonstration. Also thank you for not putting any stupid background music.
I like that Porsche is more like a "car" compared to Mercedes
@Marc Willard I believe he's referring to the CLK-GTR. They have a similar video on it.

you can do it yourself vs a team of 4 on the CLK haha
