Is it me or is Pro Skater 4 the most underrated game in the series out of all the good Tony Hawk games from 1999-2005. Plus Noseslide Lipslide IMO is the sexiest special grind ever.
@Grym cmon, we all know at some point it lost the sense and start to be annoying. You can stop adding new things game after game. You don't need new trick system, just new stages and IMPROVE the actual system. game after game neversoft add something to gameplay. Manuals, reverts, double-tap tricks, off-board systems, bodyflip tricks... you get the idea
The Faction Guitar Slide sound effect is from the intro of The Faction's Skate and Destroy. The sound effect for Headbangers Unite was later used for the Faction Guitar Slide in THUG1.
Awesome. This compilation needed to exist at least 10 years ago. I like the decisions you made for which characters performed the "OTHER" tricks from 10:14 on; tricks that related to other tricks on that character's arsenal, or tricks that they did have in the previous games.
I really hope there is a way to convince these pros to try and film these tricks IRL. Whilst we've all seen Tony Hawk land the 900, and it's pretty likely Muska did a back tail holding a drum machine back in the early 2000s, I really wanna see Geoff Rowley do a 5050 covered in ferrets.
Gosh, I loved these games growing up and still do! When I have enough money, I'm going to try to find a good-working PS2, buy the games, and play them again!

So silly trick with Jango Jump Jet If you pair it with the Moon Gravity cheat you can literally stay airborne *FOREVER* and do some hilarious stuff like find the upper and outer bounds of each level, go out of the OOB areas, and even crash the game from a score counterstop.
You're a god for doing this man. Really well put together and professional and I especially commend you for starting all the way back at thps1. Hope you take this series all the way to thpg but very grateful for what you've done so far either way.

Dude there is a hidden eater egg in this game. Trust me no on has ever found it. If you type the developers names in the create a character it will transform you into the characters they used while creating the game. No joke. Me and my brother discovered it years ago and there is no mention of it online.
It's quite irritating that the game, music and effects slow down a bit when any character does a "vert special" trick. In my opinion, THP3 got it right. No slow downs while doing vert specials.

There is a specific combination of buttons for each of these tricks. The 900 with Tony is right + down + grab button
