- Sigonce is a superb little village located 9 kilometers from Forcalquier.
Small flowery and shady squares, old stones tastefully restored, with a backdrop of magnificent nature that offers very beautiful walks... you will quickly be charmed by the atmosphere that reigns in Sigonce.
Sigonce, the village
On the edge of the village, you will notice the 14th and 15th century St Claude church with its particularly original slate roof.
Opposite this church, you cannot miss the old flour mill with its miller as a sign.
Sigonce, fountain in the village
While strolling in the streets of the village, you will be able to admire beautiful old houses, in the main street you will come across fountains, washhouses and oratories and in the alleys which go up to the castle.
Above the village, you can see from the outside the Château de Bel Air (private property), this beautiful 17th century residence is currently being restored.
