    Finally someone has done serious time lapse on bonsai growth If! Fantastic! If you had grown this in the ground or a much larger training pot you would have at least doubled the growth rate.

    • @SysterYster

      Root removal keeps the trees small and makes them produce more small roots that are better at taking up nutrients from the dirt and stuff like that. :)

    • @FromSeedtoBonsai
      @FromSeedtoBonsai  ปีที่แล้ว

      First of all the leaves of royal poinciana turns yellow naturally during natural defoliation period. Secondly it might get yellowish after repotting bcoz of hard Root pruning.
      Anthother thing, cutting of branches may froce to die back the whole brach. This happned to me so many time! From my personal experience Solution is, keep 2/3 leaves and then cutoff the branch.
      In your case, probably it was not the right move 🤧

    I have a similar project I'm working on with this same tree, I picked the seed pod when I was in the caribbean from a beautiful giant tree, and the movement of the trunk is already really interesting! I'm running into an issue where a lot of the older leaves are just turning yellow and falling off, while the new ones are growing well. Is this normal, or am I doing something wrong with this tree?
