I am an artist, I’m 62 years old. I haven’t been painting but for 2 years. I never ever painted before . I couldn’t even draw a stick figure too good. But one night while watching Bob Ross ( love him) I felt the Lord speak to me and tell me that I can do this thing. I can’t explain it but that night God placed within me the gift of painting. Before this happened I was a creative worship dancer. I had danced all my life . But I injured myself several years back. So it definitely limited me. So to make a long story short. Jesus blessed me with this precious gift of painting. I now am taking my paintings to women’s Bible studies and using them for ministry as I speak . I am blown away by His love and kindness to me and that He didn’t see me as too old to allow Him to impart this talent and ability in me. Never say that you’re too old or too young . God will use you if you will just be a willing vessel. I’ve named my Art “ His Art ByJ.Watkins. Because I’ve dedicated each piece to Him. Praying for Maddie as God continues to use her and her gift of art.
I have always respected Rita's heart of worship. Your songs deeply touched my heart. Thank for making it possible to hear Maddie's testimony. Her amazing journey is so encouraging. Praise the Lord!❤
The phrase that came to mind around the time in the video where things took off was “collateral blessings.” From how Maddie would only sing Rita’s songs to the prophecy to the snoop panting 🔥🔥🔥 I’m done!!!
Madeline, maybe it is not about finding who you are but who He, God, is in you. He is not finished with you and so perhaps the things that you don’t see as perfect in you are being prophetically shown in your paintings. Just a thought.
