Yes, you have to push the top of pins and insert them one by one, try this and do not hurry, be calm.

Where does the diffuser attach to on step 99? I can’t figure it out or its not fitting right
The diffuser you have to attach to 4 pins that was installed on step 33 and rised up at step 75

How are you suppose to attach the back to the car in step 97? Mine won’t attach and I’ve looked over your video and still can’t find my error.
You have to insert it into to black pieces that was installed at step 87

Just finished following along with you. I just shut off the sound, played some music and ran you at .25x and followed all the cool templates you put of the parts needed and how many. Way better than the useless instructions. Way more fun too. Like a friend building with you. Thank you for your video and great help. Came out perfect. And this one was complete. My Mustang GT500 Shelby was missing 2 parts, I still completed it with some the un needed spares in the kit.

Are their supposed to be a couple small pieces left over from bag 1 ?
Yes.
I’m 21 and lately got into building lego sets as I’d never really played with them before as a kid. My uncle got me this one for Christmas, (was missing the stickers tho :/), however it was a challenge and a fun one at that and at times your video helped a lot, so thank you. I will say, for some reason I guess I missed a step and for one of the rods that connect the back tire one of mine was silver instead of brown, so the back rear wheel kinda locks up when moving it, but nevertheless I’m happy with the results.

I also messed up the back bumper with the spoiler bit fixed everything on the car and it's a complete model now

I made a mistake that basically made it impossible to put on the spoiler correctly without damaging the bricks, and it took me an hour to figure out

I just checked and that piece is thicker than the others
Yeah I had problems with that too. I got it in but my hair was in the way so I had to take it out again and try to put it back spent like 30 minutes putting those pieces in. What you have to do is to Aline the black circles together so they are straight and that they feel even. and then put them in the hole at the same time. Sounds hard but that’s what I did and it worked for me. Good luck on building your car.
Try to rebuild it as said @alainacworigamimusickeytun1817 , but you have to push top of pin to fit in the hole (that's more simple way)

Maybe because you've picked another one, with more holes, you need with just 7 holes.

Mine literally wouldn't work. It showed I had the right pieces, and I most definitely did, put them in correctly, and it showed I should have more access to them, when they were literally too small for what. It wanted....

At 12:06 when you connect then mine doesn’t lay flat

Sure, you have 2 black pins that you have installed at step 95, then these two pins goes into the two black holes on the frame

There are always some parts extra, in every LEGO, sometimes more, sometimes less.

Some of the pieces inside the pad where missing the bush piece in the back wheels and i got the wrong color near the stear hog ordering in amzon the bugatti bolide yellow one
It happens sometimes, but you can ask the missed pieces from the store that you have ordered the set

I forgot one of the pieces for the thing to power the pistons but I got a fix😎 move the three pieces to the middle and it will power 2 pistons at a time so all the pistons are gonna move

Edit: it doesn't matter I've given up with it and destroyed it, nothing made sense

Seems like you have missed something when you have built the directions for wheels, unfortunately you have to disassemble partially and see the instructions if you have done it right :(

Yeah, it's a pretty picky step, you have just to push the top of pins and install them at the same time, I've cutted a bit to not stay too long at this point.

The secret is to pus top of that black pins and install them at the same time, this helps even me.

And the mclaren f1 set costs 14,000php which is about $250
I have those sets but man lego sets here are way more expensive. All the sets are more expensive compared to the US
Even the ferrari daytona, in the US; i think its $449.99. Here in the philippines its 32,000php which is about $572
After finished the 1st part I have one piece missing and 6 that I didn’t use 😐
