When she saw Naruto she realized almost immediately who Naruto was especially considering the fact he was with Jiriya. Tsunade made that bet wanting Naruto to succeed not because she wanted him to fail

I think the edgy character in anime and plain main character are just as prevalent as each other but its just up to preference which you like. I personally prefer the edgy character I think theyre more interesting 🤷♂️
