I like this. It's to a standard I can only dream about , but I keep going to try to achieve this level of excellence. Moody filming in lower light levels shows off the loco lights. Like it !
Wow! Very realistic. Looks like the Cascades. This would be great to display in a museum as it would give a very realistic picture of railroading and lumber in the NW.
The whole layout of twin fall mining is amazing. The fire and the welding work was awesome. I am watching such videos from last 2 yrs and got inspired, and now making my own layout. Thanks to you. Avinash N Jagtap. India.
i wish my porter looked like that... even though i scratch built a barrel board-by-board from an old N scale wooden hotel kit from before i was born, and before i bought from one of my friends, he had converted it to oil to suggest that it was a Hawaiian plantation locos. maybe when i get a little more work done to it i'll post a video 2 show everybody.
well Ben--i absolutely loved your endeavor and it makes me want to see the thing in person, unlike some of your videographic detractors, keep up the good work--we all get better with experience (except for those that were born already 'finished'--i wanted to say perfect but it was just too darn hard)--;)--your neighbors are not only talented but apparently quite committed--a fortunate thing for both father and son--wish them well-- regards--
Hi again to all who has made comments about twin falls when myself and my dad where constructing the layout I would have never guessed it would have been such a munched loved layout thank you all again dan Lawrence twin falls
Wastingtape - It was orignally 8ft x 4ft in two modules I think. But since, the mill has been added as another module, I think it may be another 4ft module so in all, 12ft long and 4ft wide, I could be wrong, I will try and find out for deffinate soon.
What a work of art! The scenery makes me want to go camping.
Very good looking train layout.
Outstanding Scenery, Beautiful Layout!!!

Germans are awesome modelers!

Stobart -- What's the approximate size of the whole layout?
I'm gonna do that some day! :) I hope
My dad has on30 but the gradient around the spiral is too steep so the small locos like the porter can only pull one truck up.
i want to build a logging railroad
agreed! perhaps in OMSI or the fairly new Tillamook Forest Center--
what state is this in?
@johnny huff They are from the UK.
WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF IT WAS IN FOCUS.
