Hey Honourable. Holeness, don't talk Mr. President about gun and scamming and crime music. Do something!, that is why you are President. Kids wouldn't hear it if you banned it.

I agree that some of the music is garbage the people sing and gravitate to what they see, what they live. If the quality of life in Jamaica for the average Jamaican was elevated, what do you think they would sing about? The music is not the problem. Going after the musicians is just a smoke screen. Nobody decides to rob, rape and kill because they heard a song. They've been robbing, raping and killing long before any of these musicians came along. This isn't the 50s or 60s so banning them will achieve nothing since media is now shared over the internet and on phones.

If these beaches were being used as a tourist attraction trust me it would never reach this stage but it’s the regular citizens and fishermen that use it for their daily survival , the poor in Jamaica gets no respect how much poor people can go or have access to the tourist resort beaches and how much tourist would want to come to the beaches that the poor citizens of Jamaica 🇯🇲 have access to ? The beaches belongs to the citizens of Jamaica clean up the dam beaches and make it look just as beaches as the ones use to attract the mighty tourist dollars treat we the citizens of Jamaica equally , so called rich , poor or so called middle class we are all one people we are all human beings we all deserve to be treated with respect ✊

Now I understand what the Prime Minister means - crazy.
Anyway, what can you expect when so many of our people grow up on gully banks or other form of slums. Please rip down the ghettoes, and replace them with structured high rise communities. To not fix the housing issue is to perpetuate a crime against the people.

A lot of the politicians in Jamaica embraced these garbage music including the PM, because he played them in his political campaign, and it take a government official from another country to let him know these things they are singing is garbage, sad to see what our beautiful island come to.
