What I can say from this confrontation is that Nelson really hates Shorty's style. I've rarely seen him vote for Shorty in any of his battles. In my honest opinion, I think that this was not an easy battle to judge, but Nelson already knew from the start that he would have given this to Cintia, and that seems a little biased and superficial to me. It's sufficient to look at his facial expressions and attitude during the battle: he simply goes crazy for Cintia's technique (which is awesome, but not sufficient to be a great popper and dancer, in general) and treats Shorty superficially, without conducting a proper analysis of his moves, his unique style, his smooth transitions, his attitude, and so on. Cintia is a very, very technical dancer: her moves are neat and clean, they're all in the right places and her pops are impressive, but she lacks smooth transitioning, her style is quite static, and she rarely let her groove flow freely, dancing all the tracks pretty in the same way. I think that she is too imprisoned in her technique. Shorty, on the other hand, lacks Cintia's technique and he surely is not that polished, but he has a damn unique style in the popping scene, which he perfected throughout his popping career, and he also has an incredible sense of musicality which reflects in his very cool groove. Also, he really ENJOYS battling, and he SHOWS it! And that is a big, big pro for me. I would have judged this differently.
Terrible judgment 1st round. Cintia literally did NOTHING.. second round was just as boring and basic as the first round ..shorty should have won this..
@@baristaleo ok.. explain to me how she did all that .. what pockets was she in? What techniques did she use. When did she transition...from one thing to another? How did she transition? What's styles was she using? When did she go in and out of the pockets.. ? What was the textures she was using? ... you're response to my initial comments lets me know YOU don't know what you're talking about..you don't have the answer to any of these questions... post your own opinions on here separate from my comments...
