I have two Burmese boys, same mother.
    Darcy (older) and Charlie (younger).
They are wonderful and vocal. Indoor only, but they love each other. Some fighting over dominance, but they are always cuddled together at the end of the day.
Because of Covid19, I now work from home. I invested in making designated spots for them in my home office to stop them constantly walking over my keyboard.
Advice for Burmese owners: play with them lots. More than you think they need.

Burmese are often considered to be the most affectionate cat breed. They love being with people at all times and crave close physical contact, making them the ultimate companion cat for a devoted family. They will follow their owner from room to room and prefer to cuddle up on the sofa or sleep in bed with them.

@Mike Harris just yesterday 5 kids are thrown out from roof top by military when they cornered while they escaping in Yangon downtown. what i think is you don’t know the value of freedom because you are born in free country.

While yes we're still taken over by the military, these Burmese cats arent usually your stray cats found it normal Homes in Myanmar, Cats from Myanmar and Thailand borders are bred with American Siamese cats to make a "Burmese" cat that the foreign countries own not the cats we own here.

I have seen there is a revival there, now, as they are bringing your cats back, for heritage preservation. I’m so happy some Burmese are back home. My blue Burmese was my favorite cat. He just passed away, at 19…he was a healthy, intelligent, and exceptionally loving and devoted. He got cold easily in the Upper Midwest US, so we gave him a warm room, sheepskin bed, “igloo” cat bed, many fleece blankets, and lots of cuddles as he aged. He loved July and August, and I would take him outside to enjoy sun and humidity. He seemed most “at home” and comfortable in those months.

@Mike Harris Still, many in the US have privileges and physical safety. Certainly not all, but more than in many countries.
