"What do you regret the most? That this interview wasn't longer, I'm having a great time." That is some wit for a 91 year old, most people are senile at that age.
Usually at his age (93) people just sit around and basically wait to die, but Stan Lee gives a big middle finger to that tradition and is still working, it'a incredible! Hope he's still round in 5-10 years
jay venne i mean no offence but when you ask them that question they might be more afraid of death than you even though there age is acceptable they want to live still
Nautilus1972 -- Yeah, like the mind above me said, only a fool lives pompously believing they are promised tomorrow. Everyone thinks themselves so important / too afraid to admit that death is a very real and imminent possibility.
We need Stan. In a world so dark and miserable we need people like him to bring happiness. When Stan passes away, something that I hope won't (but know it will ) happen, we will have lost a great man who dedicated his life to making others happy! A true inspiration, and a real-life superhero.
"Anything you regret?" "yeah, that this interview isn't longer I'm having a good time" AND JUST LIKE THAT MY HEART MELTS SUCH A SWEETHEART, this interview was an absolute joy to watch!
Stan Lee, the spectacular, the supreme, and the spectacular. I can only wish for such enthusiasm and vitality at the age of 91. He never fails to make my day, with the positive energy he radiates. Excelsior!
Stan Lee might be a true natural grandpa. His voice comforts you with warmth and will read you comic books before going to bed. I can just picture it man
Aw, when Stanley said he didn't want the interview to end, I felt exactly the same way. I've been rewinding this before it ends for the last hour haha. I listen to it in the background at work :)
Im a huge superhero/comicbook fan and it's incredible that Stan is 90+ years old and still rocking!! He looks so kind and happy all the time! I rlly love his work!
haha what a sweet guy, so genuine, unpretentious. Seem like a guy who doesnt carry any regrets or past hate around. Makes you think about oneself. And so adorable how he anwsers the invisible question lol, nothing heroic or any BS PC answer, he says exactly what any guy thinks of first :).
The gigantic amount of respect I have for those two people makes me feel overwhelmed. They acheived so much. And they still continue to change the world. Those are some real superheroes! If I'd ever had a chance to see one of them in person It would be dream come true...
I'm so happy that a guy like Stan is still around, still with-it, and still retains the ability to shape the world he's helped create. Because when he's gone, the world is going to suck a little more. No more was this evident than in 1992, after William Gaines (most famously of Mad Magazine/Tales from the Crypt) died. Like Stan, Bill was a huge personality. And after he died, he left a void that couldn't be filled, and his absence allowed for lesser men to eventually corrode his magazine (by filling it with ads, for example.) These guys are heroes because, despite their fame and their contributions, they've managed to retain their humility -- a quality that seems lacking and even under-valued by most famous people, who seldom even produce anything other than cults of personality. May Stan live forever!
Rewatching Dec 2018, RIP Stan Lee, truly one of the greats. A wonderful man, he brought so much fascination and joy to my childhood and even to this day his characters and stories inspire and entertain me as an adult.
The only thing i don't really like about Larry King is that during interviews he takes the role as interviewer too serious.. The questions just fly out like he isn't really interested and don't really want to know the answer. And like when Stan said that he was having a wonderful time and wanted the interview to be longer there was no response to that at all. Just next question.
“You wouldn’t remember, you’re to young” lol. That kind’ve blew my mind because no disrespect but Larry king is an older fellow so I just never imagined anyone telling Larry that. Haha.
I love comic books ,part of our American culture! Thank you ,Stan Lee, for bringing so many superheroes who were more than human! Rest in Peace, dear Stan!
I like this type of old people , in the 90's and still having a meaningful life. Not like some old people, who is mobile but just eat , sleep and wait for death.
I think to everyone whos read Marvel Comics or knows Stan "The Man" Lee from his early years until his passing, Stan Lee dying is like a best friend you've always had dying and you'll never forget him. We're all still true believers, Stan, RIP.
I never saw an interview of him before...such a nice, inspirering and friendly man! I was sad when the Interview was over...Thumbs up for that "Comicbook-Legend" and by the way....91? really? I wish i am fit like him when i am 91! :-D
It is a very weird feeling to hear someone tell Larry King "You wouldn't remember this, you're too young."
lmao
They're actually 11 years apart believe it or not
Larry king like 10000 years old
"What do you regret the most? That this interview wasn't longer, I'm having a great time." That is some wit for a 91 year old, most people are senile at that age.
Usually at his age (93) people just sit around and basically wait to die, but Stan Lee gives a big middle finger to that tradition and is still working, it'a incredible! Hope he's still round in 5-10 years
"You'll have plenty of time to rest when you're dead."
*Hope he's still around forever
He is still around at 96. Go Stan!
Me too!
he just passed away ):
This interview is like the clash of oldtimey accents. Lol. Epic.
The accent is called old new york jew.
"Must of been a HOOT for you." "Yeah.. a HOOT!" 2018, can someone remind them to get with the program? lol
rest in peace to them both
@@dstein111 one of my favorite accents, tbh.
Ever seen two legendary dinosaurs talk to each other?
Lol exqctly what i thought! Lol

On this sad day, I re-watched this wonderful interview. RIP Larry, you were amazing.
I like to hope they are taling to eachother now
Look, Im 26 and I have all my life ahead of me.
But when I hear these two giants talk about death, it gives me shivers.
jay venne i mean no offence but when you ask them that question they might be more afraid of death than you even though there age is acceptable they want to live still
zane elphinstone I never said otherwise.
+Big Jay You THINK you have your whole life ahead of you. Don't fall into that trap. Tomorrow is promised to no man. Do it today.
Nautilus1972 -- Yeah, like the mind above me said, only a fool lives pompously believing they are promised tomorrow. Everyone thinks themselves so important / too afraid to admit that death is a very real and imminent possibility.
Ha you made this comment 4 years ago, that makes you 30! What's up old man, how's it feel to be knocking on death's door?
We need Stan. In a world so dark and miserable we need people like him to bring happiness. When Stan passes away, something that I hope won't (but know it will ) happen, we will have lost a great man who dedicated his life to making others happy! A true inspiration, and a real-life superhero.
Excelsior!

Stan's voice is epic!
He'll do optimus prime good
"Anything you regret?"
"yeah, that this interview isn't longer I'm having a good time"

SUCH A SWEETHEART, this interview was an absolute joy to watch!
He appears pretty sharp and fresh to me... I wish him - at least - another 91 years.
R.I.P.
R.I.P Stan Lee... thanks for making my childhood a memorable one.
Larry: Who was the first person you kissed?
Stan: A girl called Martha..
Batman: WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME!!!?!?!

My first thought as well
24:24 for future reference
Man, Stan was so sympathetic and energetic. His good mood has outgone even Larry King. I really miss him.

These two lived pretty full lives and had a positive impact on the world. Kudos.
can't believe he is 92. Such an intelligent, inspirational man. It would be great if I were as half as young at mind at his age
I could listen to stan for hours
Will Clarke I'm a Stan for stan
Stan Lee, the spectacular, the supreme, and the spectacular. I can only wish for such enthusiasm and vitality at the age of 91. He never fails to make my day, with the positive energy he radiates. Excelsior!

Stan Lee one of the most down to earth blokes at 92, my dad can't work a fucking iPad at 38
Jack Green 38? Fuck how old are you??
"What's your name again?" That was excellent! Legendary OAA!
Lol
you are too Young to remember
What a smart & likable guy. Always focused and to the point. I like the thought that he became immortal.
watching in 2018
The worst day was nov 12 2018,
the day Stan Lee passed away, R.I.P.
The legend left us 2 days ago from when this comment came out.
Even at 95, it feels too soon that he died. But will never be forgotten.
Aw, when Stanley said he didn't want the interview to end, I felt exactly the same way. I've been rewinding this before it ends for the last hour haha. I listen to it in the background at work :)
How can there be nothing forever?I can't believe it.
-Stan Lee
I like how he has no problem talking about dc and its heroes, unlike some others. like mcdonalds dont know who burger king are if asked
This may be (one of) the reason(s) why:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Just_Imagine...
On they actually talked about them recently
Bruh, there is literally a Burger King ad where Ronald McDonald sneaks in and gets a bag of food, Lol
Im a huge superhero/comicbook fan and it's incredible that Stan is 90+ years old and still rocking!!
He looks so kind and happy all the time! I rlly love his work!
I love how he plugged Kevin Smith's Mallrats, what an a amazing guy!
R.I.P to these two titans🙏
Mallrats! Love that he considered that as one of his biggest roles
RIP to Larry King and Stan Lee. Both titans in the game . I met Stan 5 years ago.
Nice profile picture
Bless Stan Lee love his enthusiasm for his work.

man he looks young for 91
The gigantic amount of respect I have for those two people makes me feel overwhelmed. They acheived so much. And they still continue to change the world. Those are some real superheroes! If I'd ever had a chance to see one of them in person It would be dream come true...
Finally, Larry King interviews someone more ancient than him. lol respect both legends.
@4:40 "I hope they don't get hurt!"
Stan with the real super hero advice
stan and larry legends both gone but living forever...
An amazing gentleman, I never tire hearing him talk, love his enthusiasm. Love Larry King as well, class act.
"Batman has more character..." - the great Stan Lee.
suck it Superman Fanboys
lmao right
I agree and I like both
But his favorite is superman
There are Superman fan boys?
Batman and superman are both lame.

Why are you surprised that he lives? After all he is the one above all
Goodbye to a LEGEND, I like to think he now lives in this universe he created... at last
Same here pal same hope he is being with his hero’s
I hope I'm as sharp and energetic when I'm in my 90s
I can't think of more likeable person in the whole universe! Lovely person:)
I smiled so much listening to Stan. Thank you.
Funny, the relationship they have; considering Stan Lee played Larry King in his cameo during Iron Man 2
Even funnier, I just paused to type this right before Larry brought it up.
What an extraordinary fellow. Here he was 91. He was here for only another 4 years. Yet SHARP AS A PIN...
Stan Lee was a teacher to me. Thank you for every thing Stan Lee. 🇱🇰❤️✌️
When asked about passing away I got chills. I feel the exact same way as stan on the topic. RiP thank you for everything!
Stan Lee, you gave me X men, you gave me my childhood. YOU WILL LIVE FOREVER through all your superheroes
23:25 'Some day when Marvel gets all the rights to them'
Not soon enough
The future is now.
Hard to believe these two personally went to high school with the founding fathers
Man he’s 91 and he’s like a kid I love it
Really hard to believe they are both gone! 💙

The speech of Larry King at 1 minute - you can feel so much that he is reading of a prompter lol
I miss both of them 💔
I like this type of old people , in the 90's and still having a meaningful life. Not like some old people, who is mobile but just eat , sleep and wait for death.

I have a meaning in life in the 2000s until now
I'm 38 and i eat , sleep and wait for death. I think i'm doing something wrong
Stan lee is such a great guy, the way he said 'this interview'.
I guess Stan is like all other men, we all would use invisibility for the same purpose :3
It's amazing to see that he's 92! He's doing good for his age.
I think to everyone whos read Marvel Comics or knows Stan "The Man" Lee from his early years until his passing, Stan Lee dying is like a best friend you've always had dying and you'll never forget him. We're all still true believers, Stan, RIP.
Wonderfully said.
This talk was so insightfull. So sad to think they are no longer with us. 💔
Rip Stan Lee (1922 - 2018)
