I get exactly what you mean, michael has opened a lot of doors for black artists to do what they do today and he has put tremendous charitable work in a lot of causes but let me rephrase my question, what has the Jackson's done (michael included) for OUR community here in the states? That's what matters to me, going out of country to Africa etc. To help is wonderful and I support it 100% but why go out of country or state in some cases when your home is not taken care of? The little kids in Indiana where they are from? This is the same gripe I have against oprah, they do all of this for the middle class and the poor out of country and there are kids living in similar conditions right down the street, why walk over them so you can go to Africa with cameras so you can get a humanitarian award?
