I know what you mean I like the watch but I agree that form should follow function for me a watch should tell the time as accuratly as it can and then look good afterwards , it should be a tool first and jewelry second in my opinion .
Yes, indeed Edward .... I wear an AP Royal Oak Offshore QEII Cup, Limited Edition (255) in Forged Carbon and Pink/Rose Gold, and although both the shoulders, the end links and bezel are in Gold, the body of the watch in grey/black Carbon, so it's nicely balanced .... Cheers .... JJ.
It feels beautiful on the wrist, when the light catches the face it truly bursts into fluorescent greens and golds. One of my favourites.

The Day Date is perfect at 36. The GMT at 40.. This is the one to buy. Exceptional Rolex. Im in.
