spot on there carl....the stray cats were unheard of till dave edmunds took them under his wing and taught them the european rockabilly ways...i was there when they first came to england...its been a real pleasure to watch them grow and to see setzer become the awesome entertainer he is today.

Not so, these boys did there first European tour in 1977, long before the Stray Cats, who came to the UK because of bands like these, also the Stray Cats jumped onto the thriving Neo scene in the UK which was a style of playing rockabilly developed in the UK, so in essence, whilst the Stray Cats were very very good, they came to the UK and copied what was going on here.
