  • The movie "Can You See Us" is based on his life story. We get to hear it from the horses mouth how hard it is to grow up in a neighbourhood where he was the only person with albinism. This episode is his life story.

    John Chiti is an incredible inspiration on so many levels. If he has endured half of what was depicted in “Can You See Us?,” the fact that he is still able to share such positivity and encouragement with others, is commendable. He is truly doing God’s work in the world, not only for those with albinism, but for all people (eg, Mad Man-types) who need to be encouraged to keep their heads high. I’m a new John Chiti fan!!! Keep on keeping on, John!!

    I loved Elson's questions and John's responses to them because I learnt a lot about Albinoism. And Elson's last remarks to John were true and beautiful. John is a real Activist❤

    This is Top 3 best podcast episodes I've listened to in Zambia. Such a brave and touching story about being different. I loved how all the way through it he was funny and showed that he understands that life is just that, life. He also taught us a lot about albinism and the misconceptions we have about it. This is one we'll be replaying for years to come.

    Simply amazing.. at this point you may just as well stop saying Zambia's top podcast but Africas top podcast. You guys nailed this but then again you always do. I've been previously critical of Uncle Elson but am glad he 'behaved' in this one even politely excusing himself or apologising when interrupting the guest. Simply amazing. I love this..More life more blessings.

    Elson really does find ways to just be a jerk at any chance he’s given 😩… explain how you think referring to a person with albinism is equal to saying “a person with a lot of melanin “ whatttt? Albinism is a condition not a race or skin colour .a person born with albinism if born to black parents .. they are black! And if they are born to Chinese or Japanese or Caucasian parents they are that race; the only difference is they have a condition called ALBINISM!

      I think you have misunderstood or rather don’t understand what albinism is all about. A simple explanation, Albinism = The lack of melanin.
      Having a lot of melanin does not make you black. It has nothing to do with race.
      Race is a categorization of humans based on shared physical or social qualities into groups generally viewed as distinct within a given society.
      And yes Elson can be a jerk at times 😊

    • @Thatzulugirl05
      @Thatzulugirl05 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mariellah7982 he’s black because he’s born to black parents ..He’s African because he’s parents are African…just because he lacks melanin it doesn’t mean he’s not black , because he’s not white 🤷🏾‍♀️Albinism isn’t a skin colour, It’s a condition ma’am . he is a black man born with albinism 🙃 and that’s okay🫶🏾
