The pinless joints are an upgrade that we needed I have the Wendigo wave Nightcrawler and his pinned joints really held him back. The buck was outdated while everything else about it was awesome Headswapping the older heads with the newer buck made him perfect
They're pretty much the same figure. The 97 body is pinless and just a bit thicker in the arms and legs. But it's barely noticeable. Some sculpting on the red parts on the arms and legs. But that's about it. I have the older figure, I bought the fodder pieces for the 97 version. The closed fist hands and the two heads. I saved money that way and now I have 5 different heads, the sword, the closed fists, all the other hands
Yup, arguably the old heads are better than the new..sadly Hasbro did not update the body but they did make it pinless. Thanks for checking out the review. Cheers
