What to do while waiting for HDB BTO Flat Completion

It takes about 3 to 4 years for a HDB BTO flat to complete. You can make good use of this waiting time to do some things or planning, so that you can get prepared once your future home comes.
Financial planning is important, as there could be expenses that you could not foresee to crop up. Make sure you make a spreadsheet detailing the projected budget and expenses.
Also, this is a good time to check out some renovation ideas. You can search online or watch other youtube videos of renovation ideas.

Check out also furniture stores. IKEA, Forty Two, Hip Van etc. This is the best time to do 'Window Shopping'.
Also take some time to explore your new neighbohood. Get to know where the the important amenities like transportation, supermarkets, recreation parks etc. It also helps to find out where are the good food and eating places. It will be fun to explore these things, and get you ready to move into your new neighbohood once your BTO flat is completed.
