It is amazing to have this. I only hope that it doesn't go away. Let's hope the good folks of the Met don't come across it. What a great role for Cura. Would love to see some of the aria from the start of this act. Bergitas
@ShawDAMAN I agree. Its strange how the pillar breaks ABOVE where he is pushing it!! However we should not pick faults - it looks like quite a good production overall. I like the way he hugs the little boy then tells him to escape.
Does the word "symbolism" have any meaning ???? Maybe you should not judgw Opera throught he eyes of Hollywood movies ..... and more as a result of the music interpretation of the artists involved ...... Maybe technology has allowed even theatre and by extend opera to become more cinematographic but let's stick to the essence .......
Great scene for Jose. Just the right voice for Samson.
I love this opera!!!

undeniably Cura! awesome!
Cura es fantastico, no hay como el y querer compararlo con otro es ridiculo , hay q verlo en escena para jusgar, no hay como el, es mi favorito .
the splitting of the pre-cut column looked a little silly to me. I've seen more convincing collapses. Great opera finale though, one of the best.
por como se expresa caruso741 evidentemente es un experto! bravo jose cura
eh...Samson was totally off pitch at the end!
On ne comprends rien!!!
Not a fan of how Jose goes sharp when he sings those last couple of phrases
Nicee leg joseeeee!!!!!
