Thanks, you taught me quite a lot, really enjoyed your vid. Please keep the tutorials coming, I really enjoy this game but its a steep learning curve but you vid helped.
You the expert..! Thanks for the tutorial, btw if you don't mind, would you explain to me how do you calculate for getting the altitude at 2:32 and time to arrived at 24:35. Thanks P Gatcomb keep the good work!
Database entries list climb rate and it's a matter of dividing height by climb rate to get time. Be very careful with units and remember that climb rate drops with altitude. As far as distance goes, the database gives you speed by band so it can be worked out.
Unfortunately no, the only scenario I have posted on the workshop is entitled "Closing the Straight". Fortunately there is a video that goes with that as well if you are looking to follow along.
couldn't you have used the planes with a to short strike radius as well? Arm them to your liking and when they are airbourne change their home base to Dien Bien Phu, so they don't have to fly back. even if the magazine there are empty you can have a single sortie, refuel, ferry back, rearm and start over again. Not a quick turnaround but better than to have them sitting around doing nothing
Definitely, the problem is the viet Minh artillery being in range of splattering my aircraft on the runway. Magazine presence is also a concern at the given airport.
Jesus bro you so extremely helpful and very entertaining to watch for a tutorial video. Thank you so much!

That was an awful lot of really specific intel that you wouldn't generally have. But I get the point
Not sure if you're critiquing the game or the video but this is a scenario made for demonstration.
The UK armed forces actually use this wargame.
Is anyone having trouble running this game. Keeps freezing.
44:56 it looks like the rocket fired from an invisible unit ?
Came from a wingman (not visible unless you toggle it with the numpad 9 key)
