Thank you!!! 5AM Hubby is out of town working and it finally got cold enough we needed the heat for the first time this year and the igniter was dead! I am very capable of doing things without my hubby but this one I didn't even know where to begin. I thought it would require taking the heater of the wall and accessing the backside of it. I can't thank you enough for this short, sweet, and to the point video showing exactly what I needed to know!
Thanks for a good quick and to the point video! I found out exactly what I needed to know. I didn't see the + battery indicator on the button until later. Thanks!
I wished it helped, my problem is for some reason and yes I've tried several different batteries. When I press the igniter, no clicking sound whatsoever from the battery terminal. Any ideas 😢
@mariquint1 hi. Yes it works . guess I caught it before too much damage was done. The acid didn't eat away the contacts. I had to use canned air to blow out the dried battery chemicals. I believe you can replace these pretty easily. Just gotta Google the heater model number and look for new parts.

That is happening to me too. Did you end up fixing that issue?
@@arverarobinson6810 the ignitor can be replaced easily and inexpensively.
Thank you....instructions don't tell you how.
Certainly helped me out. Unfortunately the original battery leaked everywhere. Lol
That happened to me I tried cleaning it and trying a new battery, still nothing. Did you ever get it to work?
