You can hold F on anemy to open menu wheel, then put cursor on "open inventory", then press middle mouse button and select "use as primary". From now every time You click "F" on enemy, old inventory will open instead this crappy "loot" UI.
Eyo I didn't know about that, that might come in handy, the new body looting is very helpful if u want to quickly grab ammo/med pens from a body but taking the armor off the body is a headache with it without using the old menu.
About the elevator box unloading: put box in elevator, send down, move box back to elevator and open it there. You can move the stuff directly from the box to local storage without bringin up and sending down the elevator again.
The attach weapons to bodies thing is useful when the NPC is away from the box. It takes some practice to align the item to the body, but it works. You can attach all sort of things on bodies
On dragging items into the loot crate, I use filter and select something like utility clearing the field, so it is easier to have a spot to drag to and drop.
Been doing this the past few days, and a quick tip to note: u don't have to pull the stuff out of the SCU box and put it on the elevator in fact u can actually put the SCU box back on the elevator (and don't bring up the cargo elevator) then double click on the SCU box while it's on the left side of the elevator gui and it opens the contents of it then u can just click and drag all the items that u want to keep or throw more items in to it to sell. I found that most guns sell for quite a decent amount, and the [*Modified*] heavy armor pieces (mainly the helmet and chest armor) sell for the most credits, I filled up a 2 SCU box with nothing but the cores and helmets and sold it for just shy of 60k and 2 SCU box of nothing but weapons sold for almost 70k. This being a gameplay loop is actually kind of fun, it makes me feel like I'm "cleaning" up the mission and taking the enemies armor as a turn in trophy, kind of like a fantasy adventurer taking proof of a completed quest and turning it in for payment. Edit: Also something else to note: some weapon attachments, medical pens, sidearms, and most utility items cannot be sold to the cargo center, if they are in the box when you sell it some will get deleted and some will go back into your local inventory.
@@MrSlvr2000 Interesting, thats my main way of looting/storing stuff in a SCU box. U have to drag every item 1 by 1, Theres issues with selecting everything and moving items and only 1 of the selected items moves, and that was my work around.
You already said it, but (when it works) you can drag the box into you inventory at the Personal kiosk, then when it's in your inventory, you open a 2nd inventory window click the move all button.
The fastest way to loot with the 3.24 inventory system is to drag the bodies to your ship, land at a station, and loot the body in the cargo area. The equipment boxes (helmet, core, etc) will snap to the loot elevator grid thingie. When you're done, drag the naked body out of the elevator. Rinse and repeat. Dragging the bodies is way faster than putting the gear into a container. I take an 1 SCU container only for the guns and one set of heavy armour. I take that and all the bodies to my ship and leave.
Hit or miss most the time the body’s despawn before you can get them on your ship. If you move the body at least once with the tractor beam first I noticed they do not despawn
@@blomsky3475 honestly I'm not sure......haven't really tried. I assumed if you got scanned you would get a crimestat still. In the last couple patches I just stripped them in the bunkers

Good update for noobs of the tech demo! And yeah, the tech demo has taken a bad path with regards to development and that is sad. I have been playing for years, but stopped actively playing after CIG dopped the 3.23 patch, as i find the tech demo being too tedious, with too many time sinks (Item Banks etc.) MM and so many other BS game mechanics, I feel CIG has F***ed up with the latest patches. Anyways, my two cents for doing bunkers effectively, and i still do this, calculating for not staying in the Bunker for more than 15 min, like in old times, so I do bring a 2 scu as well, but only use it for weapons. I instead tractor all the bodies to the elevator and also bring back the scu box to the elevator, then when upstairs, i tractor them to my ship, that I have parked so I can see the entrance of my ship from the elevator.......I usually can do this with my Titan. Once all the bodies have onboarded my ship, I also tractor the scu box into my ship. then I just fly outside the countdown area of the bunker and usually a bit father, were the turrets cannot reach me, then i just land and from there on, since CIG in all their stupidity has taken away Ship inventory, I then use the same method that you so nicely have described in the video, by dragging each body under suit to my body, and then dragging it into another scu box, for just armour. In that way I have weapons in one scu box and armour in another. So totally I have 2 scu boxes with me, for these types of bunker missions, and if there is no space left, I just drag the armour to the floor and hope that the ship does not explode cause of crappy game mechanics! Try it out, just for fun at some point and time it! ThanX for a good noob video on Bunker looting, very good and step by step description! Cheers!
