I combed mine out after a year. It was definitely not for the weak. I also do my hair myself. And my hair was thinning as well and budding exactly like yours. My hair was waist length before my locs. it genuinely grew so much but it also broke off. Now it’s maybe three inches past my shoulders. And I have half my head shaved but man my hair feels so thin and it was never thin before.
@@KingCollins-t8o I think we may have gotten a little too comfortable with not having to do our hair as much and ended up not doing it enough or taking care of it the way we should have
@ yes definitely that and my job also made it hard to take care of my hair too. It also didn’t help my case that when I put them in I didn’t do the best parting so that made it harder to care for
This is how I’m feeling about my edges… between two pregnancies my edges are slowly falling out 😭 idk I’m trying to stick it out
