Really? Big congrats, that's a heck of a first vehicle. My wife and I just picked up an X3... 30i. Not M. But it's a lovely car to drive every day, super comfy. Hope the M treats you well.
Really depends if you can afford it. Personally I'd save the money and get a nice used one. But I also don't want to spend brand new money on one of these. So if you can easily afford it, go for it.
I honestly think this sounds better than an M3, especially inside the car! Though I have to say, I've driven an X3 M40i and would struggle to justify paying a lot more for this over the M40i. I can already see the M purists replying to this comment saying this is way more car, but unless I need the clout factor or actually plan on tracking it, I think the M40i is more than enough.
Reviewers: “Why do they limit revs while parked??” Also reviewers: /gets into brand new car with a stone cold engine and revs the snot out of it Way to really go ham on someone’s future car….at least drive it around some before doing that
I've definitely seen reviewers do that! We film all exhaust clips after the test drive and only rev to 4k. And during test drives we drive around first to warm up the car and never go above 4k rpm or half throttle.
My first vehicle now!

My first car is a GTR.
How is the ride ,is it good enough for long distance driving?
I wouldn't have an issue. Seems very comfortable in the comfort setting
@@BrosFOURRSpeed thank you for the feedback man
I just ordered mine, coming in july cant wait!
Sweet! Great SUV!
Do you have kids ?
I want one of these but the price people are pay per month to lease or finance makes me sick to my stomach. Maybe one day…when I’m 90.
I got some pepto for you
After driving both, Would you say the LCI is worth the 30% Premium on the used market? Thanks!

It’s a cool BMW!
What do you think about the X3 M40i?
Great car! I'd probably buy that over the M. More affordable and still very fun to drive

Yeah for daily driving, it's better M40i. You don't really need 503 Hp for daily driving.
The continental tires wear out to fast look out
Oh yeah? I've only ever ran Michelin tires, so not to sure
