Love this! I’m going to use this spread for September it’s beautiful. Glad you are realizing that whatever you do is the right thing for you and don’t compare yourself to others. You are fabulous!! 💗
Thank you so much! It took me a while to get to this stage, but I think there's also a level of confidence that I've acquired as well just from regularly journaling and not holding myself back so much :)
I wasn’t using my bullet journal last year so this year I decided to use my bullet journal for memory keeping. I still set up my moths for an over view and then at the end of the month I will journal about any days that I actually did something worth noting. I’m working on setting up a travelers notebook for weekly task lists and brain dumping. It’s all about growing and changing with the growth 😌
What a good idea! I can see why memory keeping is a safe switch. Right now I’m using my unused notebooks as scrap paper haha but I should try to do something more meaningful 🤣 and you’re so right! It is all about growing and changing with growth. Such a wonderful way of putting it.
If decorating is what you enjoy most, well you can always use this same journal to do only monthly spreads/covers with different themes each month. You can decorate each month depending on how you're feeling... collage, painting, junk journal, markers, washitape theme, drawing, sketching, sticker theme or just doodles of the month.... you know the methods are endless not to mention the themes. This way I think, you are doing what you love about starting a new month... "new month new theme" without the pressure of having to go back every day to fill it out. You are doing amazing with everythig that is around you. We don't have to follow the rules, only adjust a little to what time really allows us. Regards from Mexico!
Mexico! I was there a couple years ago for vacation before the pandemic and wish I could go back! The food is so good :) anyway you’re so right. I should try to find a way to have that flexibility. I’m hoping that in my latest PWM I’ve found the solution but we’ll see in a few more months how that goes!
@@camiscottage oh how nice!! You know, at the end of the day us viewers enjoy watching monthly themes and not really focus if you filled your bujo or not... Hope you can come visit our country some time soon!
@@claudialozano7203 Good advice! I'll keep that in mind, maybe I can just do a series for setting up monthly themes! :D! Once travel opens up fully and my son is old enough, we just might do that :D!
Cami do junk journaling and art journaling! We just wanna watch you craft and journal and talk about your life, and focusing on low-stress creativity with no expectations could make this whole process easier for you. My $0.02 and suggestion, whatever you do I'll keep watching :)
This journal can be anything that works for you. One of the things I do is a lot of free flow journaling like you do in your other little journal. I mean I do have structured elements, but I leave a lot of room for art and just free writing and photos..i actually started using my bujo this way because of you. The bujo can be anything that works.
Free flow journaling sounds so therapeutic! I have to try that sometime. Usually I journal just to dump thoughts out but I can see the benefit of just writing with no restrictions. And n so glad to have helped you find a new way to use your bugs. Thank you for your comment!
I love the sense of discovery involved here. And I love that journaling and the like are so fluid. It’s different for everyone. What works for one doesn’t work for all. Keep up the good work and don’t worry about doing what works for you, and stopping what doesn’t.
Omg YES! I would love to! In my poll it wasn’t to most voted option so I had to prioritize a few other videos first but the garden is in a really good state to show off now so I’ll include it in a video someday ! You can always check out my Instagram, I have update on there more often about my garden 💕
I would recommand you reading "The Bullet Journal Method" by Ryder Carroll if you haven't already. I already read it and it really helped me focussing on the things I find most important in my Bullet Journal. It also gave me new ideas and inspiration and it taught me to just use my Bullet Journal the way it comes in handy for me and to try new things if it doesn't work the way I would like it to work.
I get a lot of anxiety about the things in life I haven't completed or done as well as I thought I could have, but my bujo is the one place I refuse to feel guilty about my mistakes or failures. It's only purpose it to keep me organized and be a small creative outlet for me. I'm sure it's more complicated since you post your spreads here, but abandon it, if it's not helpful for you.
Luckily, I'm not too attached to the mistakes or failures, but there is an obligation to share that seems to be part of the problem. HOWEVER, I recently made the decision to switch to just one notebook, which I'll be sharing in my July PWM very soon :) so it seems your advice landed on me before I even read it
Agree. Setbacks can be opportunities to reflect, learn lessons, and make adjustments for future wins.
It's a never-ending cycle :')
Awe!! Thanks for the shout out! You do have to do what works for you! ❤️❤️❤️
Sorry for the late reply. So glad you enjoyed the shout out ❤️

Ah, I've read it so long ago that I could definitely use a refresher. Thanks for the tip! I think that would definitely help :)!
