- #toddthornton is walking around a 2023 #27north RexRover AC1 - 5N231580. This 4X4 Adventure Truck is built on the Ford F-250 Super Duty Lariat Chassis Power by a Ford Power Stroke. The Truck has also been upgraded with an off-road adjustable Suspension. The rugged offroad camper shell is Kevlar-coated and scratch-resistant with a recessed awning. The interior gives you comfort no matter where you are with a king-size bed, passthrough into the cab, bathroom with toilet and shower, kitchen with induction cooktop, microwave, sink, washing machine, and Dometic refrigerator, the living space also has a convertible booth dinette, television, air conditioner and plenty of storage compartments. Love the build lol It's far removed from my old custom job, but she looks slick! One easy recommendation though? Take that external TV and replace it with a compact projector, build a drop-down screen from the awning. ^^ Much better for chilling outside after dark, and more likely to see use. (At least, that's how I rigged my own build up. The only issue: Bugs. Good lord do they love that light.
I am an experienced off roader on tandem air suspension off road trailers with HD truck out in the wild and I can tell you that this thing can barely pass a level 1 mountain road without breaking the drive shaft at the first sway over a small rock or lose their little mounted house in the process not matter how hard and tough they built it . I really hope they are not advertising this beast as such.
I've seen these do some pretty insane off-roading in person when I went to Pagosa Springs, CO. They're no slouch in the mountains.

Something i would add is : "full external security cameras" - positioned around the vehicle - for late night camping security - you can just scan from inside the vehicle and see who is in the area👍🙏....... otherwise, stunning classic 👍

Beefed out and BULLET PROOFED F-350 with suicide doors, on the back is a Lance 950 on it, airbags all round, Suncoast transmission, updated springs, delete, Mishimoto rad and brace, she's a beast

This would be great in CO given it's sometimes VERY cold temps (I know, lived in Colorado Springs). The main 2 things not good for me is the price (I don't even want to know!) and that it's too tall to fit in a garage (but then all truck-campers don't). Otherwise, I'd take it!

Just by looking at it, seems like too much weight for the back wheels. Maybe could use another set and double tires on each axle.

The interior ceiling work looks a little rough, with those sound panels falling down in the corners, exposed fasteners, etc. especially for such a price premium.

Not evenclose. A house increases in value and is an investment. Motor homes are money pits. And in 5 years it won't even be worth 20 grand. 5 years paying on an house and you could at worst sell it for what you paid and more than likely make money. Anything with wheels and motors are bad financial disasters.
