I live in fort pierce, next town to vero. We had an enormous tornado go thru and wipe out power poles and cables, houses and businesses along Kings Hywy. I’m 1 miles from it in a manufactured home. Just got power back today (6 days without it) but no damage. Very, very lucky. One thing though: I hate cold showers😝
Oh my gosh. I live just north of Vero. We had tornado warnings for hours. 38 touched down and 120 tornado warnings were issued. Another one hit north of me too.
Looking at the desolate and tragic scene, I can't help you, I can only send the best wishes to all FL people, everyone unites and join hands to stabilize their lives soon. Ask mother nature to be gentler with them

There were waaaaaay too many tornadoes in this storm

That one stayed on the ground 21 miles, finished up on the barrier island in Vero then went out to sea.

I lived in Stuart fl for 38 years and I never saw a tornado……… times are changing
Any idea if the Historic driftwood got damaged ?
Crazy tornadoes with this hurricane i go to vero quite a bit at the outlet mall.
