Played there in the late 1980's. We played 5 courses on a ticket you bought, we played, Ladybank, Crail, Scotscraig, the Old course, and The Eden course at St Andrews. It was a fantastic week, staying in a friendly B & B, a great golfer breakfast began our day, and a large dram each evening from the owners private stock of great Whisky, plus good nightlife in St Andrews enjoyed by us all. All for just over £100, for the golf, similar for the digs, how costs have changed. Cost close to that to play each one now. Recommend to everyone.
Free night in the pub and a curry for Chris for the club chuck i think 😉, My mate +3golfer playing a winter lgu knockout with his 14yr old son off 3,the son threw a club on the tenth tee after a bad shot and dad turned to the opponent's and shock there hands and conceded the match....the son never threw a club again

I’m a member at Ladybank and good to see that good golfers…well one anyway😉find it tough. You don’t get away with stray drives, and as you noted…difficult entries to the smallish greens. Never a club chuck James…drop at worst. Clutching at straws tall boy, blaming the pin keeping it out🤔😉 Scottish qualifier last year and there was only a handful of below par scores…and loads of high scores. Enjoyed the video!
I believe Chris is correct .Throwing clubs should never be tolerated . Violence is not the answer .Penalty of 3 clubs removed from bag for rest of round and buy the beers🤔😂😂
Another great video lads, you can’t break the ceiling every time you play and you have been buzzing if that was your first round out of the series. Just goes to show how penalising tree lined courses can be. Look forward to the next one 👏🏼👏🏼

I play internet ordered Adams Ideatechs the originals not the new junk. They are still good, but I play mid size grips but choke up about 2 inches on all the irons and hybrids to hit consistent. C9 sw. If I choke up to get best result would shortening and maintaining or lowering the swing weight a little be the best idea. May go back to standard grips as choking up is the same size. When I choked up on the regular grips they got too small. ?? Thanks Spike

I would love a "behind the scenes video that talks people through everything you guys do before and during the shoot outside of the golf. For example, I would love to see the shooting of the drone footage, when do you do that and so on? How many cameras and camera shooters? What type of cameras and drone? And so on. :)
Boys! Quick question for you all in the UK. Is it odd golf cart have the steering on the left while your autos are on the right? Always wondered. I found it strange to drive on the right when I visited the UK many moons ago.
James you will never have a good short game if you keep changing the golf ball you use good touch and feel are the most important things in having a consistently good short game

Ladybank is a great course (I lived in ladybank village for 19yrs) but there are many courses just as good for a lot less money in the area. Try the courses at Kinross
You’re late…. My Sunday was boring. Well not really because we got a great Day in Ohio to get in a nice 5 1/2 hour round. Nothing better than waiting 15 minutes between shots.
I appreciate your videos but a 2 man scramble against no one else... isn't a theme that is very interesting to me. Just play a proper match. You're taking all the competition and drama out of golf. Even worse is watching grown men take irons off the tee box in an uncompetitive, nothing on the line, format. Come on blokes, give us the sauce.
I get it, but the point of the video is to show off nice courses that aren't highly recognized and to try and beat course records. Love they're banter between each other reminds me of my buddies, and I lol😂

My dad’s 2nd favourite course after the Rosemount at Blairgowrie. Very similar.
Played this course in 1992 and it’s a hard one so don’t be hard on yourself and Chris I am enjoying this format
