Thanks for another very nice video and good comments. Nice choice of music. I like the fact that you do this alone, confident in your ability and your bike. ou drive very carefully, which I would too, if I were alone up there!
Thank you for sharing. I really enjoyed the journey. I have friends on Catalonia and will be watching your Catalonian video next. Stay Safe Regards from S Africa Clive
Yes, if you go to the website of the Trans Euro Trail (transeurotrail.org) under Spain you can find gpx files for this route and all the route around Spain.
Thank you! And know I took it slow and was careful, which also is a requirement for using the track by the park authorities. It is important to respect the nature and the limitations for using the track.
Great video and beautiful scenery! How long did the point from Bagergue to the exit take? Or what's the distance? I plan to do this in April 2020, but need to research a bit more, as now I'm worried about snow up there!
Thank you! The track is closed during winter and until April 30 because of hibernating bears in the area, but from May 1 going forward it should be open. The same is valid for the Montgarri loop going to Bagergue. Otherwise the gravel part of the route is 15 km long and the rest is paved. I went in early June and it was okay with only little snow at the highest point at around 2000 m altitude. I think it should be doable in May as the sun is strong during spring and the snow normally melts fast, according to locals I have asked. Enjoy!
@@Scarletpimp72 Under the conditions that was present when I drove, a Tiger 800xc with decent 50-50 tires is fine. However, do know that the conditions of the gravel road can change rapidly with rain, melting water from snow etc. It is not a race track and has a speed limit of 20 km/h, so most bikes are fine with good tires on a sunny dry day during summer. And the road is closed anyway during winter, so...?
@@mcbluestreak5607 thanks so much for taking the time to reply and the time to make these wonderfully shot videos!. So many videos showing riding the tet and pyrenees, yet yours really stand out.
Thank you. I was driving around for 3 months and rented an AirBnB in Coll, Vall de Boi. On more than 1 day trips I used BBs, but mostly took 1 day trips from Vall de Boi, which is fairly central located in the High Pyrenees and easy access to N-260. All trips was done on my Yamaha XT660Z with Michelin Anakee Wild tires.
Hi, the gravel road is 15 km long and the paved part of the road around the same. So this short part of track 15 of the TET route in Spain is not long, but very beautiful.
Thank you for your kindly report it's help a lot .

Early June, which is outside the main vacation season in Spain. It can be a lot more crowded during July and August.

What's the nearest town to the start of this track? Once again a fantastic video
Thanks! Depending on which way you want to drive the trail it is either "El Pont d'Arros" or "Bagergue" with the larger city "Vielha" in between.
