Absolutely love whenever you visit Sam, seeing all his bigger tortoises so chilled and happy is fantastic It would be so good to see another Aldabra tortoise at that Kamp 🤞🏻🤞🏻
I giggled watching 204 swimming in the air.. they are cute lil dudes.. they drink water out of their nose, learn something new everyday, and that poop flowing out was su h an added bonus too. Bernie sure is a vocal dude.
What an amazing collection Sam has! They’re beautiful, majestic animals and you can see and hear the pride he has in them. Thank you so much, Kenan, for taking us on this incredible journey. It was fantastic!🐢❤️🐢
I'm fairly new to the world of Tortoises and turtles but it just amazes me how beautiful and intelligent they are. I'm drawn to their eyes and there is something about them, that melts my heart.🥰💜. I could watch videos like these for hours !!! At least 15 of my playlist videos, are of turtles and Tortoises ; especially when they're eating and you hear the crunching of them enjoying their food.❤
There's something about watching tortoises that makes me profoundly happy, ever since I was a little kid. I'll get one eventually, maybe not a giant one though haha.
Yes! I have 2 but my husband was misled when he surprised me with em... he was told they were redfoots... certainly sulcatas but I love them and thankfully we have the means to make the accommodations needed when you live in Michigan
I love that so many of your friends have a love for animals like you. I love the Aldabra tortoise. I do prefer the the nice round shell. Looks smoother and uniform. I do like the double scoots. Very distinct and cool to be different.
Omg I just dream about having the money and the land to buy 5-6 of the 4 inchers and raise them till I'm old and gray with a big herd of Aldabras running around...lol OMG hopefully one day!!!!!
7:55 This is why I occasionally let my Tortoise roam outside of his enclosure (back in the day, nowadays I can keep him outside for most of the day). I think it's important that they also get to walk around on even terrain and harder terrain rather than the soft coco coir/whatever
I love Sam I got my first rhino iguana from him over a year ago. Real nice guy he helped me find a real nice male. Takes time to help find what you're looking for.
My red eared sliders loved their neck scratches too (they are now in an amazing enclosure in a zoo). That's something about turtles/tortoises many people don't know, how "cuddly" they are. :)
I appreciate the comments about the imperfect and unique scute patterns. The redfoot you sent me has an extra scute and it’s my absolute favorite thing about him.
Hi Kenan! Thanks for taking us to Sam’s place. He has such an impressive amount of wisdom when it comes to the tortoises and iguanas! So sorry he has to get rid of so many iguanas though ❤️🩹. I love seeing them from babies to adults! Such majestic animals!🐢
Love seeing Sam he's looking well the wealth of knowledge is ridiculous, as some other commentors have mentioned I could watch 1-2-3 hours with Sam and Kenan talking about tort husbandry
Funny enough I watch Sam on Instagram and fell in love with 223. I’m actually moving to Dover (east of Tampa) next month for work. This video couldn’t have been timed any better! I’m getting an Aldabra so this is amazing content from the man who wrote the book on Aldabra!
I have tortoise envy. I've got 15. Would love a aldabra. Unfortunately don't have the funds for one. I love my tortoises they definitely help me with my mental health which is severe and I don't leave home but these get me out of bed and into the garden. Love your work kenan and your passion. I wish I was able to have a tortoise rescue. I've got 1 sulcata, 6 leopard babies, and 8 adult redfoots. Indian star maybe next. Would love to see more tortoise videos on you tube. Keep up the good work. Luv ya from London uk
What an amazing video! Sam is doing great things! This also makes me think and appreciate how creative Kenan can get when he creates his animals enclosures, so naturalistic & unique. Not many like Kenan’s ❤️🤙🏽🤙🏽
to old now and sold property after 22 years , would have loved to have met Kenan back then ( or someone like him with his knowledge !)in stead or my coy ponds i for sure would have vested some of the property and time to theses amazing creatures! thasks again my friend ! you make me so jealous ....but i live vicariously threw you and your friends !

These Torts are amazing!! Wish I lived in a warmer climate where I could provide a great home for one but, Michigan just isn’t that place..That is also why I enjoy your videos so much..I still get to observe all these animals I can’t keep myself…

Sam really has the insight and love to be raising tortoises. Such an amazing animal that needs to be escorted through time if not in the wild.
What an amazing collection Sam has! They’re beautiful, majestic animals and you can see and hear the pride he has in them. Thank you so much, Kenan, for taking us on this incredible journey. It was fantastic!🐢❤️🐢
That Galop sounds like a croc.. amazing they are.
I think Sam is my favourite of all the people you visit. He is very informative, and in a way that you just want to listen to him all day long.

This guy is a wealth of knowledge. I'd love to spend a day listening to him.
I have a one year old horsefield and learning so much from you. Never stop learning
There's something about watching tortoises that makes me profoundly happy, ever since I was a little kid. I'll get one eventually, maybe not a giant one though haha.
Mine help with my mental health they get me out of bed and outside as I have read of leaving home. So relaxing to watch x
@@dianejohnson6777 Oh I bet! Feeling the same way about my dogs, but I guess they aren't as relaxing haha
Good morning everyone. I have three Sulcattas. And I love every minute of watching them grow, as they all have their own personalities. 🐢🐢🐢
🤠
Same here, instead i have Burmese stars.
Yes! I have 2 but my husband was misled when he surprised me with em... he was told they were redfoots... certainly sulcatas but I love them and thankfully we have the means to make the accommodations needed when you live in Michigan
I got one. I had another it was stolen.
I have to watch my boy Sulcatta as he keeps leaving out of the gate going to the front sun tanning under the tree. 😌🐢🐢🐢
Loved the opportunity to see the babies, juveniles and adults. Great to see people taking good care of these magnificent creatures.
What a nice networking opportunity with the amazing people who care for these great fellas

The sounds they make are incredible. I didn't know they can roar! Now I wish I could see one in person.

Beautiful set up for the tortoises, very innovative, gorgeous tortoises too, thanks!!
Once you go tortoise you never go back, they have the most amazing little personalities
You also never go back because they live longer than you do. Tortoises got staying power.
@@lexslate2476 Yep. Even the little Greek Goldens live to about 120.
Had such a HUGE smile on my face while watching this whole episode.
Me too!!!
Really enjoyed learning about these gentle giants. Thank you for bringing us along with you.
My red eared sliders loved their neck scratches too (they are now in an amazing enclosure in a zoo). That's something about turtles/tortoises many people don't know, how "cuddly" they are. :)
Pros geeking with pros.. gotta love it!
