It’s really interesting how the colors show up in the end. Keep exploring this technique. I can’t wait to see what you create once you have it nailed down. Still a very cool piece!
Molly, im going to try this pour!! I guess it was a few weeks ago you did this but ive had some trouble figuring out how to reach you!!! I watch you do the ‘ wave “ a week or so ago & i did 2 that i love! one is on an 8 x 10 piece of glass i took out of an old pic frame. the 2nd is on a 12” x 12” canvas that I also love! my problem on both of them is trying to varnish or gloss them! i used Clear pouring topcoat by DecoArt & i didnt use enough but i couldnt get it to move! should I add water or floetrol?? I was so Disappointed in the outcomes although you can’t can’t really tell unless you get up close to it? i started pouring about a year ago & those were the 1st ones I ever liked! Help! I need advice on protecting the final final! Thanks Molly, you rock & i loved you & Olga together!! you’re both so talented & adorable! judi in Carlsbad, CA
It is interesting how that paint is one color when wet then another when dry. I just love the pearlescent paints. I love the shimmer effect. Experiment was amazing!!
Love how "real" you are & your laughing. I too, am short & sweet - tho husband may only agree I'm short. 😆 LOL This will be interesting... & You make it fun!
Turned out great! Can't wait for more "experimenting". Pearl paints all look white?? Would love to see how wrecked rings would turn out ~ a total surprise!?!
When you said ‘I think this is going to be mostly purple’ my comment was “what’s wrong with that”? I know a lot of the colors didn’t show up but you can’t beat purple and green for a beautiful combination. I think it looks absolutely stunning. I hope you continue experimenting with these pearl colors. I like not knowing what you’re going to get until the painting dries and then we’re all surprised. 💜
TH-cam brought up one of your videos as a suggestion tonight and, luckily for me, I watched it. I must say this makes for addictive viewing. I have spent the last several hours watching. Thank you from flooded North West New South Wales.
I love purple and green so I don’t miss the other colors. ☺️ It looked pretty before but it is amazing how different it looks after completely dry. The colors definitely pop!
Just found this video...WOW, STUNNING! I replayed it at half speed so I could see the order of colors, and it was HILARIOUS!!! You sounded very tipsy, especially when you laughed. You must watch it - you'll get a kick out it. Oh, BTW, you did start with the Violet. Thanks for sharing - will be trying this palette real soon!🤩🤩🤩
You’re my inspiration for laughing while painting. I’m just a beginner and when my painting isn’t so nice, I just say, at least I got the laughing part right.
Love it Molly .. was amazed with the dried result... I was like wowww it luks beautiful... 💖💖 Thanks for sharing 😊 keep experimenting... And one more thing I like your laugh... Keep smiling and laughing always... Be happy ❤️
Hi Molly, I was sooo excited to watch your video because I did this exact pour last week!!!. I had been waiting for my paints to arrive, I got them all, so I was ready with my “Paynes Gray”, canvas, etc. When they arrived I tore the box and off to my studio I went…the wait for the colors to appear was like waiting for them to arrive!!!, it turned out AMAZING Molly!!!. Great minds and short sweet people think alike!!!. ❤️💙💚💜🤍💛
I think it’s fantastic!! Love the way the colors came together. On the left side the long fingers looks like it is dropping something in the middle. Love it!!!
Molly it came out interesting ! I saw what you had mentioned about using white shimmer colors along with solid color s as the blend . When you make paint flow on canvas . Something different . Thank you for sharing your technique.
