My dad was great friends with the band mates Mando (bass) and Martin(drums), eventually in the 2000's my dad would DJ for stapled shut and mix in the background add intros all types of stuff,
its funny that i look at this as if it is "mediocre" when in reality this was one of the bands that pioneered the sound of powerviolence.....i must be ass backwards in everything i do aha...im so privileged man...we all are to have such good music at the palm of our hands...so many people across the world would die to have a mp3 player full of music and here i am squandering it and making it out to be something i cant enjoy...this band is actually awesome
Real ass comment, man… sometimes I think about this old iPod I wound up with. Sadly, it was stolen, but I was super poor at the time and didn’t have shit. The music on it became my life. Sometimes I feel awful about it but I have cleaned my life up. I say that to say, I miss that feeling I had when I was able to access all of that music that I hadn’t had a shot at before having that.
All I gotta say is these guys fucking rip it up all the fucking way great band great music great performance and that being from a native guy from Utah
whatever subgenre you wanna call it, it f'n shredz ... ppl get hung up on 'styles' and i highly doubt these dudes sat around thinkin bout that when they wrote this sht
The vox are exactly what I like and don't hear enough of in new bands. So much guttural bullshit. If you're gonna do the easiest thing in a band, you better try to make it harder by making it painful lol
I always come back to this. Rips like nothing else.
Been listening to them since the 90's, rotten low fi so-cal grind played old skool & proper.
its more hardcore/powerviolence, grind is different
I first heard this band on the reality part 3 comp and was blown away and loved them ever since. Ahh the slap-a-ham days
...Yeah- I forgot they were on Slap A Ham...
Straight up OG
Brown Power
Cheers from Poland Nowy Targ city!

MARTIN ALVARADO from EXCRUCIATING TERROR play drums here !
Love the energy in this! Fucking can't sit still while this is blasting!

Resin Heaven. Seen em at Fiesta Grande 1995.
Thanks
Seeing them tonight ♥️ hella excited
I have the 7” but this tape is cool! Never heard it. Good group. They have a weed groove/vibe the other bands didn’t. This rips hard actually.

If you want great power violence band with unique vocal check out Pink Flamingos from Germany. They have also split 7"ep with MITB.
yeah, these guys vocals remind me a lot of dystopia and flesh parade
"All I feel is the anger..."
cool
Beast as fuck
sounds terrifying
but also hella stonery at the same time haha cool
uuuffffff
Anyone got lyrics to these ??
👍️( =^ω^)🥧
a
reminds me of Despise You but more hc punk and less gangsta
HC
sounds a lot more like crust than powerviolence
Weird how all the OG powerviolence bands sounded different from each other but all the new ones sound only like Crossed Out.
...And watered down Infest.
I think that's a foolish statement.

@@mude.mcmudskipper8907 Great.
crust is one of the main precedents and influences to the powerviolence style, so makes sense. most pv sounds kinda crusty to me.
