Imma go on a rant right now: locking one of the coolest features for one of the most popular race in game behind such ludicrous requirements was just straight up moronic. What’s even worse is the fact that there is no mechanic that even let’s you differentiate S+ rank players from non s+ rank players. So either, you go and kill some random in Hueco and pray they are s+ rank or ask in the chat and hope you don’t get ganked by a wolf-pack of Starkk users. What’s even worse is that they expect you to be able to beat other races in hueco mundo after they dropped 400 PE for vastocars to get the most braindead res in game that is borderline impossible to beat. Soul reapers were arguably one of the weaker races in game, even with vastorage, but now you don’t even have that. And even worse than that, you have to somehow beat them 50 times without vasto rage. And you lose progress for dying? You lose EVERYTHING, unlike adjuchas who lose a few dozen kills in their vastolorde progress.
@@jay99286vasto rage is a cluch mode, by the time you use it your opponent will already be low. I’ve seen a little showcase of hos but it really doesn’t seem all that good. It looked like it had high dmg small aoe.

Ngl, HOS either needs a massive buff, or the quest line needs to get easier. I know you say it’s overpowered, but in reality its just another heal with an extra 2 moves. And even then, the moves are debatably good. I fought a guy using HOS while I was in V rage, and even with all his moves, I wiped him with V-rage. So, imo, until the quest gets better or the HOS gets buffed, just go for Rage. Its easier. And (DEBATABLY) better.

Probably gonna go on a rant so sorry in advance. No I don’t think they’ll nerf HOS. Why? Take a look at the game recently. It hasn’t been doing too hot due to lack of content so the devs are probably in the mindset of trying to keep their current players and trying to bring in new ones with flashy or popular things. The previous patch is a great example of this with the Satsui No Hado aka Arrancar Hakuda (Arrankuda). The boss Orochi the Shura has his own cutscene and own area, and is clearly inspired by a lot of media most noticeably Akuma from Street fighter and Sukuna from JJK. Pretty flashy and some refs to other popular Asian video game/ anime culture. The moves are also quite flashy and powerful on release too with Tastumaki even getting its own sfx when a fire gem is imbuded on it. The problem however is these only appeal to new players because it’s flashy. So how did they go about appealing to current or veterans? By making the boss difficult because obviously players who’ve played awhile are bound to have good gear. The issue however is this separates both sides and their balancing for the boss wasn’t well done. For one the boss is unable to be fought unless you are a vasto car and unless you’re just that good at true stun combat games or are super stubborn you probably didn’t get vastocar the first time you played. You might not have even picked hollow the first time you played either and with their only being 1-2 slots per account you might not even have a spare slot for an arrancar progression slot! Already limiting the new players they were hoping to pull. The bosses balancing was also not done very well. You can’t feasibly (hell it might not even be possible) beat the boss without at THE BARE MINIMUM 80%PVE damage. Sure veterans probably have ancients cloak or the Christmas one and Yamamoto beard but that’s only 40-45%. Where do I get the rest then? In the game mode they left to die with poor advertisements Storm delves. Good luck with even trying to get rare perk stones because the only way to get those are from the one chest you can carry, players, or arrancar bots and remember the mode is a pvpve battle royal so at any moment you can get screwed over by someone else and win nothing. But wait! We’re not done yet still! You’re not even guaranteed to get the PVE damage bonus perks because it’s RNG! So you need a LOT of them to just get the bonuses you want. This isn’t even including the time it takes to find a match which I’ve had one take FOUR HOURS to find during GLOBAL QUE. So even when you get all that you’re still not done. Now you gotta go fight Yoruchi and complete all her lessons and get the good hakuda skills for the fight! Which they’ve also changed recently so you can’t spirit cheese her anymore so you better be decent at the games combat. And unsurprisingly you’re still not done cause now you need gems to boost your moves and good accessories as well! Finally after all that you can fight the boss and unsurprisingly the boss has nonsensical mechanics to inflate the difficulty in an unfun manner. Extended M1 range, ungodly fast planning that looks like reaction speed, combo starting critical attack and block counter, invincible flash steps, faster flash step speed, more flash steps than all players, life steal, less than 5 minute timer, a rage mode should you do any spirit damage doubling his health and damage, and ALL THREE evasives with a reduced and separated cooldown! All this for 9 new moves that have been toned down since release and not a single nerf to boss but instead BUFFS. You would think the amount of people who complained of the unfun mechanics and unfair gate keeping of the boss would MAYBE change the devs mind about adding something like that again, right? R-Right? Nope. Not even a little. Cause now we have a time raid boss you can’t solo (Starrk) because it can use the ult WHENEVER IT WANTS WITHOUT BUILDING IT UP WITH COUNTERS, AND a time limited boss who blocks, counter blocks, and parry’s ANYTHING THROWN AT HIM (Yurukii Terumi) WHO ALSO SHARES THE SAME MECHANICS AS OROCHI AND HAS 2 PHASES!!! They literally spat at the community when given criticism for Orochi and straight up made a boss you can’t kill. Even shadow buffing him when people tried using unblockable attacks (Starrk segunda cero, and Starrk ult now no longer work as he’ll teleport out of range of them) and taunted us with basically unobtainable rewards for beating the boss (accessories and possible pure hogs). If that’s the devs response to trying to make Orochi less bs and more fair while still being hard I DOUBT they will be reasonable and nerf the requirements for HOS. I have beaten Orochi for my beast, vessel, acceleration, Chaos, and Starrk slots, I have beaten Starrk raid boss and I have beaten Terrumi before the shadow buff. Im not some noob who is spouting nonsense I’ve played the game an unhealthy amount to have maxed out 16 slots. I am also around 110 elo. Yeah it’s nothing to brag about but it’s to show I have SOME knowledge on the game and I’m at the very least below average or average at it. Making assumptions about me will get you ignored and it’s just an unhealthy mindset. You don’t know me. Im just someone passionate about the game and community enough to bring up these opinions from others to explain to others who aren’t as passionate or aren’t as active. I agree with a lot of your points, in fact, id say some of the moves are *too* flashy, making it hard to actually see where you are aiming them, and the bosses being buffed so much compared to real players is crazy considering their AI is still almost identical to that of the clone shikai, like, maybe instead of buffing the NPC's stats so much, you nerf those stats, and instead buff the AI, i also agree that storm delving is too essential for how bare-bones and boring it is and how the rng aspect makes it even more annoying, and i also agree about the part about building up the ultimate with counters, its so stupid that the boss can take me from 100 to 0 in one, undodgable, unblockable, unparriable attack, and even if you use an evasive, its still ~70% of your health gone
I've been playing since the very beginning of the free release and they constantly just fuck with us spitting our face and only giving new things to soul reapers while having the worst possible update schedule releasing updates months late. The game died for an obvious reason and I doubt its coming back, compare the player count on the recent update to the fullbringer update, fullbringer update brought in 26.7k constant active players in while the recent update oulled in around 11.2k active players and that is a stretch. They've practically given up on the game and will likely quit which has me super disappointed since I've been supporting the game since release and its one of my favorite games to play on roblox yet they constantly run dirt in the wounds that they created with the lack of passion and lack of care for the community recently. Game used to be so good keeping me entertained all day now it's a shit fest with people getting 17 godlies left and right making disgusting fucking builds in an unbalanced game where if youe unlucky there is no point in even playing it.
They have stopped caring for the game long ago, its not optimised, lags like hell and there are 2 bosses that got added, 1: starrk who can just randomly wipe you with cero mettraleta 2:Byakuya who I havent fought yet and Terumi who is a complete copy of Orochi but worse. God I hope either the game fricking dies or the devs get their crap together, which is unlikelly
If it weren’t for the reset prog bs, it would be worth it. The way I see it, from the start it should’ve been have Vasto Rage and pop the pure hog to get Horn of Salvation, no strings attached. However, for the nerf they have 2 options. Get rid of the reset if you die crap OR let the game die permanently when that new bleach game comes out and never have a player base again. Because if there was ever a reason for peroxide to die, is if this Horn of Salvation thing is going to be common when True Bankai comes out regarding difficulty. For the LONGEST time, they would not add blood or ink or any canon ability because type soul did it first. And then they go and pull this crap after MONTHS of dead silence.

It's not even inherently hard it's just so RIDICULOUSLY TEDIOUS and UNFAIRLY challenging. If anything it's as if the requirements are moreso there to prevent you from getting HoS at all. Anyone with a well functioning, non sadomasochistic driven brain would just go for the much saner and logical alternative (v-rage)
do you guys remember when peroxide progression felt fair? yeah that stopped when the released fullbringers with an untested op boss that needed like 3 different nerfs and had a shit ton of bugs to beat the thing with the peroxide team is that they dont understand the community we don't just want a boss that can 3 tap us and if we beat it we get a broken ability we would rarther have an actually fun questline or a boss that at least feels fair yet every update instead of actually being creative with what they add they clank there monkey brains together and go "oh i know what lets add something with completely unfair requirements because making a questline people would enjoy is hard"
What got me so mad is that i got to 39 kills, 1 from a friend abt 8 from giving time splitters and the rest were me killing players by myself, i was abt to get my 40th kill when i disconnected mid fight and they were red hp, thats where i personally quit
For all yall going on a rant, there is some hope. The theory is that the form is locked down like this so that players, if they do get a pure hog, don't use it and just hoard it. This is because in the discord, it's stated that pure hogs have even more uses in the future for other races, one of them being the Quincy. So instead of struggling to do this quest, hoard any pure hog you get until more updates come up. Once this happens, they should at the very least lower that requirement for HOS back to Peroxide levels.

Peroxide devs make a fun experience for the player base that doesn’t require several ironman challenges for a virtual power-up or progression that is basically vital or you cant compete with the rest of the player-base challenge: instantly failed
I like the Concept of the quest but how they gave punishments on dying is terrible, instead of resetting your progression on every stage(once you're at stage 2 or obby part) reset the progression on that stage only(For the obby reset to the Time gate kills only), and since stage one is the hardest, just reset 50% of the kills.

Bruh one of the reasons some people play Peroxide is cuz the progression is better so why make the progression for Horn similar to stuff in Type Soul? To be fair, nothing compares to Type Soul requirements for the progress. Type Soul is still more buttcheeks in that deparment imo but still. The only silver lining is that they at least had the knowledge to not make it just better than VastoRage. These sorts of paths in progression should be a thing the player chooses depending on what they want without placing themselves at a disadvantage. VastoRage gives you something and Horn gives you something else. Just pick what you want. And so balance changes for anything related to these two paths should keep that in mind. Don't much like the addition of Godly elements tbh. The cool Stark Res outfit should just have been the design philosophy for Beyond Resureccion literally fusing with a Hogyoku since that hole with an orb in the middle is based on Starks Beyond Res in the gacha game. (All that aside I am still holding out hope they'll add more outfits. I really really want them to add new Res Outfits cuz the ones in game kinds suck. Segunda outfits are fine though they could use more variety. My main issue is with the Res Outfits specifically)

should add checkpoints for the kills like getting vastolorde, 10 kills check point, 25 checkpont 40 checkpoint then 50 is done and if you die you keep the 50 kills and for timegates the 5 kills is fine just make it so you dont need restart, for the parkour give it a CD or some shit idfk

I got banned for RMT (which i didn't even do and didn't have a reason to even be able to do so considering i don't want hell's exe and alr had the other best accessories) on my main, and all i have to say abt this update is good riddance because they deadass made worse VRage impossible to obtain, Starrk OP as hell and make it oneshot like all bosses, and they reworked Glacier and made it even more braindead, and didn't nerf Hakuda or fix the wall and ceiling bugs where you literally just use any move with knockback up or forward and they get stuck in it until they server hop because they can't reset because the game still counts you as moving 💀

I've been playing since the very beginning of the free release and they constantly just fuck with us spitting our face and only giving new things to soul reapers while having the worst possible update schedule releasing updates months late. The game died for an obvious reason and I doubt its coming back, compare the player count on the recent update to the fullbringer update, fullbringer update brought in 26.7k constant active players in while the recent update oulled in around 11.2k active players and that is a stretch. They've practically given up on the game and will likely quit which has me super disappointed since I've been supporting the game since release and its one of my favorite games to play on roblox yet they constantly run dirt in the wounds that they created with the lack of passion and lack of care for the community recently. Game used to be so good keeping me entertained all day now it's a shit fest with people getting 17 godlies left and right making disgusting fucking builds in an unbalanced game where if youe unlucky there is no point in even playing it.
They have stopped caring for the game long ago, its not optimised, lags like hell and there are 2 bosses that got added, 1: starrk who can just randomly wipe you with cero mettraleta 2:Byakuya who I havent fought yet and Terumi who is a complete copy of Orochi but worse. God I hope either the game fricking dies or the devs get their crap together, which is unlikelly

If it weren’t for the reset prog bs, it would be worth it. The way I see it, from the start it should’ve been have Vasto Rage and pop the pure hog to get Horn of Salvation, no strings attached. However, for the nerf they have 2 options. Get rid of the reset if you die crap OR let the game die permanently when that new bleach game comes out and never have a player base again. Because if there was ever a reason for peroxide to die, is if this Horn of Salvation thing is going to be common when True Bankai comes out regarding difficulty. For the LONGEST time, they would not add blood or ink or any canon ability because type soul did it first. And then they go and pull this crap after MONTHS of dead silence.

It's not even inherently hard it's just so RIDICULOUSLY TEDIOUS and UNFAIRLY challenging. If anything it's as if the requirements are moreso there to prevent you from getting HoS at all. Anyone with a well functioning, non sadomasochistic driven brain would just go for the much saner and logical alternative (v-rage)

do you guys remember when peroxide progression felt fair? yeah that stopped when the released fullbringers with an untested op boss that needed like 3 different nerfs and had a shit ton of bugs to beat the thing with the peroxide team is that they dont understand the community we don't just want a boss that can 3 tap us and if we beat it we get a broken ability we would rarther have an actually fun questline or a boss that at least feels fair yet every update instead of actually being creative with what they add they clank there monkey brains together and go "oh i know what lets add something with completely unfair requirements because making a questline people would enjoy is hard"

What got me so mad is that i got to 39 kills, 1 from a friend abt 8 from giving time splitters and the rest were me killing players by myself, i was abt to get my 40th kill when i disconnected mid fight and they were red hp, thats where i personally quit
For all yall going on a rant, there is some hope. The theory is that the form is locked down like this so that players, if they do get a pure hog, don't use it and just hoard it. This is because in the discord, it's stated that pure hogs have even more uses in the future for other races, one of them being the Quincy. So instead of struggling to do this quest, hoard any pure hog you get until more updates come up. Once this happens, they should at the very least lower that requirement for HOS back to Peroxide levels.
I love waiting two years to get content they just released because they made the requirements for it stupidly challenging on release with intent to lower them later apparently

Peroxide devs make a fun experience for the player base that doesn’t require several ironman challenges for a virtual power-up or progression that is basically vital or you cant compete with the rest of the player-base challenge: instantly failed

I like the Concept of the quest but how they gave punishments on dying is terrible, instead of resetting your progression on every stage(once you're at stage 2 or obby part) reset the progression on that stage only(For the obby reset to the Time gate kills only), and since stage one is the hardest, just reset 50% of the kills.
They should make the obby have a cooldown instead of resetting everything

Bruh one of the reasons some people play Peroxide is cuz the progression is better so why make the progression for Horn similar to stuff in Type Soul?
To be fair, nothing compares to Type Soul requirements for the progress. Type Soul is still more buttcheeks in that deparment imo but still.
The only silver lining is that they at least had the knowledge to not make it just better than VastoRage. These sorts of paths in progression should be a thing the player chooses depending on what they want without placing themselves at a disadvantage. VastoRage gives you something and Horn gives you something else. Just pick what you want. And so balance changes for anything related to these two paths should keep that in mind.
Don't much like the addition of Godly elements tbh. The cool Stark Res outfit should just have been the design philosophy for Beyond Resureccion literally fusing with a Hogyoku since that hole with an orb in the middle is based on Starks Beyond Res in the gacha game.
(All that aside I am still holding out hope they'll add more outfits. I really really want them to add new Res Outfits cuz the ones in game kinds suck. Segunda outfits are fine though they could use more variety. My main issue is with the Res Outfits specifically)

should add checkpoints for the kills like getting vastolorde, 10 kills check point, 25 checkpont 40 checkpoint then 50 is done and if you die you keep the 50 kills and for timegates the 5 kills is fine just make it so you dont need restart, for the parkour give it a CD or some shit idfk

I got banned for RMT (which i didn't even do and didn't have a reason to even be able to do so considering i don't want hell's exe and alr had the other best accessories) on my main, and all i have to say abt this update is good riddance because they deadass made worse VRage impossible to obtain, Starrk OP as hell and make it oneshot like all bosses, and they reworked Glacier and made it even more braindead, and didn't nerf Hakuda or fix the wall and ceiling bugs where you literally just use any move with knockback up or forward and they get stuck in it until they server hop because they can't reset because the game still counts you as moving 💀

Server hop won't count as death long as you not in combat and you can't have Vasto rage at all
