Whoever made the hos quest line should be sentenced completed 3 times with no help

To obtain HoS they should make you fight your vastorsge mind u the fight won’t be easy but not super difficult and when u win the fight u lose your vastorsge and get HoS I think that would be a lot better than all that quest

They should’ve just went for a mastered full hollow mode instead. Like how Ichigos full hollow mask is his true Vizard mask, they should have you go through moderately difficult progression so you can obtain your Vastorage mask and use it in tandem with Bankai.
If I had to choose between HOS vs VRage with no obtainment restrictions, I’d choose V rage. Why? V rage just feels so good, man. The moves it gives deal so much damage, not to mention it has a counter that is unevasivable and deals 600 damage. People might choose HOS because you can use moves, but VRage just feels so smooth compared to just a second Bankai, that I have to go with V rage.
Horn of salvation is just vizard with 35% buffs
And heals 70% hp in bankai
It buffs 60%
And hella dmg

Besides the absolutely shitty as hell obtainment method, V-Rage is not only x10 more clutch, but just overall x10 more powerful when it comes to PVP. Sure, Horn just gives you a heal in Bankai which can 'also' be considered a second life, but there might be times where you get comboed to death and end up dying without being able to pop horn. Meanwhile, so long as mask is on, you have a good safety net incase you somehow get 1 comboed without evasive.
There are also times where V-Rage can win you the game due to either outlasting an enemys 2nd mode, or just in general pushing targets out into zone in time gates or 1v1s, allowing you to snag free DMG. Plus, you also have the insanely stupid Block counter and holdable giant AOE cero that is basically unavoidable if you wait till the enemy runs out of flashsteps, and combine all of that, and you basically are better off with it than Horn.
Horn not only lacks the safety V-Rage provides, but has far less game winning potential compared to V-Rage. Horn won't save you from a 50% Starrk combo unless it's somehow untrue, but V-rage proc will.
Of course if we include obtainment, then yeah, V-Rage is ALSO better in that category. Who in the right fucking idea thought it was a good idea to make a obby that reset your entire quest while also letting it be able to be cheesable with Lightning? Doesn't help it had troll jumps before the nerf that LITERALLY made it impossible to beat on your first go, meaning before, you needed not only 2 hogs, but upwards of 100 kills just to fucking obtain horn, and that's IF you don't die to the obby again and have to restart all over, and knowing how the movement can be kind of whack sometimes, or lag, or literally any sort of factor, one misstep and you're fucked, and all of that for a worse V-Rage
TL;DR: V-Rage is just objectively better and isn't literal hell to get.
Literally the only way for a HoS user to lose against V-Rage is if they are utter ass my boi
@@PumKat666 That doesn't automatically make HoS better than VRage when you still have to consider everything else. Also, a HoS CAN still very much lose to VRage. Plus in this situation, the V-Rage can actually PB/Perfect Dodge more moves to use to their advantage when compared to a VRage 1v1
U forget something crucial. U die after 3mins, and ur vizard bar decreases with each attack you get, making u stay with 15% debuffs from vizard all the match, thing that doesnt happen with HOS as its permanently removes ur vizard debuffs, doesnt matter if u have hos on. This isnt typesoul, u can evasive if there is a dangerous combo coming, if not then kether would be the most op thing in the game, so ur point there its useless. Cero can be easily perfect dodged, m2 can be pbed and the only tricky part here its the counter (being the only true combo vrage has), where u can simply avoid it by m2ing the opponent. Not mentioning vrage has a locked moveset, meaning u can only use the 2 attacks from vrage, having into account u gotta be fast as u have a timer plus has slower dashes. Hos heal goes through reap, u can use it many times, not having to wait to die to use it and start inmediately abusing it, plus its guaranteed u can use it 2x times in the match (ranked), because it doesnt consumes ur bankai bar for the other life as vrage does, so u dont have to wait all the way up to charge ur bankai, then die to use vrage. Hos doesnt have a locked moveset, meaning u can use many, many more reliable abilities depending in ur build compared to Vrage, so, aside from obtainment, HOS its objectively better. Ur points underestimated with bias the potential of HoS. Not also mentioning how HoS boost ur stats 2x, meaning u will oneshot everything and everyone, not having to wait to die to use it, not having the need of being kamikaze, and not having only 2 attacks locked like vrage does.
horn of salvation is so op but, the farm is not worth it
it will take weeks if you play just a couple hours
i know it gives alot of buffs and is basically another bankai (because of the healing and the buffs) but vasto rage is 1000 TIMES EASIER and most of the time you will only see the difference if you are a tryhard player who cares about a 5% more buff (is not a 5%, its just an example)

Horn of salvation only lasts you bankais length so if you want the of horn then you need to wait a good bit and take a lot of damage which drains you banki bar so you can only use horn for a good min and a half if you want the heal
I think it would be cool if, like we fight ywhach, get our zanpacto broken and then go to the royal palace talk to an oetsu NPC and get teleported to an asuichi finding mini game to get our true Bankai OR we can just get our sword fixed so we can use shikai and bankai again (side note before finding the oetsu NPC you're stuck with your base zanpacto and can't go into inner world) and fight the Ulquiorra time bubble. If you kill Ulquiorra and go into your inner world after your spirit will spawn with a hollow mask and will have jumped spam text with the options "(shikai name) what?" Starting a fight like the bankai fight for control over your hollow side which took control over your spirit
Up, that's a way better quest and more interactive than current HoS quest

honestly i’d love to obtain horn of salvation cause it seems pretty solid for pvp and it’s cool to have a global pop animation, especially since vasto rage is pretty easy to counter if you know how to deal with it’s strengths and abuse it’s flaws (like it’s timer)
but horn’s obtainment is pretty obnoxious, resetting progress on death is incredibly stupid and putting an obby on a game with movement as jank as peroxide is silly work.
if peroxide devs want to make horn truly on par with vastorage, what they need to do is remove death regression on it’s questline and make it so horn refills a portion of your bankai meter. then it’d be viable to use and practical to obtain
Yeah but a global animation is nothing if it looks shitty as hell compared to regular moves in the Glacier Rework, or pretty much any bankai but explosion, Vastorage, any segunda (especially starrk), any voll, twin soul, etc having better cutscene compared to scrolling Kanji and a user having Segunda eyes and a horn with like the most low effort cutscene possible, and what makes it worse is HoS is worse than Vrage cause you have to time using it unlike simply having the rule of "purposely get killed at low HP in Bankai" and it can basically also get curb stomped by Reap if ur at low HP 💀

I’d say horn is better pve wise as well because you get the damage buff alongside all of your shikai/bankai skills, which means something like fire bankais tornado can do upwards of 1200 damage (or other ults).
Maybe, but it’s so not worth it. Imagine doing the most insane pvp questline to get a buff, only for you to use it against some random npcs

Fire Bankai already does around 1200 or even 1 taps in a small room and shreds in PVE invasions + having stuff like ice will have lots of aoe
I’m just mad that they’re trying to copy HoS instead of going for the actual mastered vastorage form that Ichigo has in Brave Souls. (it’s also the same form that OMZ took when merging with White to fight Ichigo in the Dangai, as well as the form he would’ve had after his fight with Ulquiorra if not for him being so terrified of his mask afterwards)

Free revive is much better, you could be about to lose bankai but if you die your back to full in terms of mode and hp, the cero does BRICKS of damage and the aoe is huge, even though it cant use your actual moves, the stuff it gives you is more then enough
The cero is ass, one single perfect dodge and you getting comboed

@@Hasaiki12 only bad vastorage players hold block, and I think you're forgetting that you don't need people to m1 your block to activate m2 counter. You just have to be close enough when you m2 counter a move and it's a free cero. Vastorage is just a heavily skill based mode that requires the user to outplay their opponent.
Id say the reason why the obtainment is this tedious is due to how having only 2 devs makes updates harder to push out and theyre waiting until more pure hog paths comes out then they'll nerf the quest for HOS
They have more then two devs its just two actively work on the game rest are contributors or other devs

Well, I want HoS and I'd be willing to grind another SR slot to S+ max Bankai max vizard, but I don't want to deal with that bullshit questline after I do everything else. So I think I'm happy with my maxxed out Vasto Rage slot.

they should have made horn an easier version of vastorage where its where you need just 1 hog and like 5 grips and a basic quest since i feel horn should be used a way to have a buff in order to get vasto rage easier or if people prefer having a better buff rather than a second life they can use horn not just a buff that gives 60% hp back and two decent moves while vastorage is a second wind with a very strong moveset
Tbh it would have been better if u lost 25-30 kills u had on the killing 50 people quest and all 5 kills kn time gates because the quest is supposed to be the hardest but not to the point u cant do it without luck
A better obtainment and buffs would be this
If they don’t change the quest of it give it the vasto rage cero
However I feel like it should be changed entirely
I feel like HoS should be a better version of vizard mask and not its own thing, because tha5 pretty much what the HoS is generally, some things could be stat boosts and some special abilities, these could be
Gran ray cero: the gran ray getsuga was a special version of this move so I feel like it would make sense to be unlocked
Salvation: a regeneration skill that’s a faster version of HsR, but doesn’t last as long
Cero of salvation: basically just a massive AOE cero
And here’s how I think they could make it somewhat worth it
Although here’s a questline idea
-no hogyoku stuff, straight to the point
-get a ticket to the royal palace and use it, to enter the royal palace, (you need max level for visored, and you need vastorage)
-do the quests of each one (tenjiro, stay in the same location for 30 minutes, wood lady, eat, oetsu, defeat the wave of unnamed zanpakuto)
-finally you must fight someone who’s also max level and you must have them bring you down to 20% hp, then you unlock it, however if you lose the battle, you will have to do another battle to gain it back, and unless you win, it won’t be permanent

Honestly I perfer grinding for hos because when vastorage runs out you just die,and poeple can just run and people tend to do that a lot when you pop bankai
Ngl, HOS boost (im pretty sure, anyways) gives way more. 2x stats and whatnot. But other than that, its moves arent better than some legendary modes when it comes to passives. If the devs gave it a m2 counter I think it'd be on par or better than Vrage.

I would personally still say HOS is better, just because of the fact that you can still use your bankai moves. I watched video of the gran ray getsuga, and just 1 hit did 40% of the other guys hp. And you don't practically die after HOS, which you do in vastorage. Yes, gigantic cero is good, but it has a pretty big cooldown, so you just have to rely on m1's afterwards. HOS beats vrage in that aspect as well.

I feel like the devs saw everybody complaining about how long it took to get 2 hogyokus for rage and said, "You wanna complain? Here." Then they proceeded to make the worst quest ever made. It'd probably be easier to 100% Dark Souls than beat this without going insane.

The thing that makes me mad about HoS is that it's super similar to vasto, with some even saying vasto is better and also Starrk's existence also just overshadows HoS because Starrk is currently the best thing in the game. And even with all of that, the HoS quest is extremely stupid and really hard. I would be fine with a small nerf like having the Obby have a CD instead of making you loose literally everything and also loose ur pure hog (I'm pretty sure u lose hog if u die in obby) but no they made this slightly better vasto rage that isn't even meta because of Starrk be infinitely harder then everything else in the game.
I understand that hos is extremely strong and all and the devs dont want soul reapers to get it easily, but the quest is actually so bad lemme state all the steps from what I've heard:
Get 50 max level, max mastery Segunda/bankai/volt kills (this quest sucks because there is no real way of knowing if a person meets this requirement)
5 kills in timegate (easiest quest, no problems with it)
Super mega easy obby( not so easy obby, like you said in the vid, movement can be janky, plus you need another pure hog if you fail)
5 timegate wins in a row (this is completely trash, timegates are heavily dependent on if your teammates are actually good at the game/ not bugged/ didn't leave/ not afk)
Kill terumi (wait.. you mean the boss that was coded to pb your skills with ease, super armor m1s, 10x more difficult than orochi? Yeah no)
Kill starrk (also one lf the easier ones, idk if its solo, if its solo you're cooked, but if it's not then you could probably just find a group of people and let them kill him for you)
Now i dont know if progress resets on death after you complete the obby, but knowing peroxide devs and seeing how much of mess this questline is, it probably does...
its meant to be hard, you get 2x stats, getsuga is hard to land but if u do land it thats like 2 bankai ults 1k dmg, the roar has aoe and doess 500, strength builds do up to 170 in m1, even spirit builds to upto 80 m1, you can still use all ur bankai and normal skills, you DONT die when it runs out and it gives u a70% heal out of all of that, vasto rage u need to die to activate it and most ppl run till your mask breaks then kill you, vasto rage is good if u dont wanna do the quest but you cant argue hos takes the game for pvp no arguement, pve may go to vasto rage because of the aoe and m1 damage but at the end of teh day hos is op and broken if hos gets nerfed then the quest should too, because if i do a hard ass quest that takes me 2 weeks to do for something that isnt even op i wouldnt bother to use it.
They made it hard so people can stay on the game which is actually crazy 😭😭 and desperate for players

Tbh Peroxide is on its deathbed currently. If things continue the way they’ve gone for the past months I have no doubt the game will die within the next 1-2 updates.
Vastorages main downside is that you will be knocked after like 5-3 minutes so you have to finish your fights fast after using it.
4:56 vastorage user can NOT come back to live over and over again, as you get knocked down when babyrage runs out. Or in 1v1 rankeds, you just die

They false RMT banned me on my main and the fact that my alt with Zaraki's clan skill (not even max) can beat most of the bandit beating NPCs for players with HoS but not Vastorage players purely because one is a last ditch effort transformation so you'll alr be low in the first place, and the other is a "i'm fat as hell and refuse to get off my gaming chair" transformation with 2 terrible skills, a braindead quest, and a horrendous PvP quest where you have to somehow kill 50 people who are S Rank and also have Max 2nd form, without getting clapped and absolutely molested by Starrk's moves and it's ult straight oneshotting and diddling you before you can even M1 them once, and they don't even have to BE in Segunda to use it, or jumped by the average Vesselkuda spammers or Amazon frauds, or even worse getting hunted by quiggers in general across the map 😭

Horn of salvation is literally vasto rage with no drawbacks. You get that extra life just like Vasto rage, But the two skills u get don’t do much dmg but you’re also forgetting the part that horn of salvation is still able to use moves besides the two moves. for example, there are plenty of people who are really good at fighting in base and bankai, But just suck when it comes to vasto rage because the lack of diversity and predictable play style. Legit horn salvation is literally better overall. It doesn’t limit your move set and you don’t have a time limit, Unlike vasto rage. the only thing that sucks about horn salvation is its obtainment method and low dmg. On the two new skills, But it makes up for this with U being able to use another moves besides just those two. And it gives u health back when u pop it. Vasto rage legit isn’t even good anymore because people know how people use it now and it’s so easy to counter
You do have a time limit it last your whole bankai duration and Vrage (at least from what I’ve noticed from using it) seems to last longer then your bankai duration

HOS is not trash it’s just not worth it in the long run
they gonna have to change the questline or they are actually dead 💀
yeah but I have never used my vastorage for PVE and I have done maybe 100 s rank raids
wdym vastorage users can come back over and over? when ur bar runs out with vastorage u die/get knocked(basically death), I would take hos for pvp just because you can use ur bankai and shikai moves on top of it and(idk if how hos works entirely so forgive me if I’m wrong but I think it’s like vizard/bankai where u don’t die) being able to heal over and over again every time the thing runs out is way better than a 3rd live, only thing you could argue is that vastorage does more damage, other than that I think hos takes pvp, forgive me if hos is infinite and can’t be repopped or if u die when it runs out.

Horn is better than vasto because it just makes you overall stronger sooner than vasto
they put old type soul stats tryna get it just stick with vizard bro
well if u gota grind for 3 hogs, and if ur vasto dont span thatsa problem rng sucks,
