Tonight's plans- kids are going to mom & dad's, and I am finding a TON of stuff to donate to our town's "community pantry" - it's a neat thing... you donate clothes/household stuff, they sell the items in basically a small thrift store, and then they use the proceeds to buy food for the town's food pantry. I'm excited!
I just wish everyone had your enthusiasm towards life and the small things that make life so beautiful ❤

Hi Emily, you made me laugh with your comment about if ever caving in and getting yourself a pet raccoon you’d never bring it into a submarine 🤣😂🤣 I guess those persons in the missing submarine were very aware of taking a calculated risk; however the thought of them at the bottom of the sea is heartbreaking and scary. Hi Emily! I love the warm shades you used today. Yes, I have been on a Navy submarine. It was a tour, I didn't travel onboard but I can tell you that it's very close quarters and must take a lot of time and training to be able live on one. There is no way I would ever entertain the thought of traveling in a soup can like Titan. May they all rest in peace. 🙏

You had me cracking up when you were talking about how you can go clean a litter box with a bronzer that has a lot of play time-- I'm sitting on my bed, drinking my coffee out of one of my many cat mom mugs with my cat next to me. That Colourpop palette is so pretty- it kind of gives me Natasha Denona Sunset palette vibes a little bit!

Not sure if this counts…but I rode the Finding Nemo submarine ride at Disneyland and let me tell you the claustrophobia was REAL! I realize the Titan sub was way smaller. But I couldn’t even imagine what those people went through. Prayers for all affected.

Oh I cried yesterday reading the story of the 19 yr old he didn’t want to go and was terrified but went for his dad for Father’s Day. His dad was titanic obsessed.
When I saw who the passengers were and saw the father son duo I immediately thought Oh that poor kid is only 19 probably just went because of Father's Day and then when his Aunt confirmed he was terrified to go I just felt so bad, whole thing is just awful😔
@@holliekk82 yes I cried reading the entire interview with the aunt. It’s all so tragic and the thought of what they went through is terrifying.
Only comforting part of it all is that they didn't feel a thing or even realize anything was wrong as it happened in first hour or so of descending
Hope everyone will also shed a tear for the hundreds of people who die in the oceans trying to get out of their war-torn countries and get to better lives, only to be set back afloat aimlessly ... while officials just watch them sink ... not just cry for these 5 reckless millionaires and billionaires out on a ridiculous joyride just because they can.

Just because they had the money to go on a once in a lifetime experience doesn’t make them terrible people, nor does it mean they deserved to die. And for the people you say crossing our waters and getting sent back, I don’t know much about that but there are supposed to be proper channels of entry into our country for our protection (although that cannot be said currently). Don’t be an a-hole. Have some sympathy, people lost their lives while the whole country counted down for it. That’s pretty freaking sad.

Happy Saturday everyone. I slept in today so I’m late to the video. It’s my favorite morning to do. Grandkids kept me up too late lol. I love this eye look. Please use this palette again Emily. I need to see more looks from it And I also have good food memories with my dad. He used to take me to a little diner a few small towns over to get the open faced chicken sandwich with yellow gravy. And his candy for me was a Necco . He always saved me the brown ones. Loved my dad so much

@@GratiaPrima_ well when I was young that is always what we called it and it made it special in my mind.. lol but after becoming an adult I realized it’s just chicken gravy and probably from a can it was so yellow but it was the best lunch ever with my dad!!

I believe what happens when you let your concealer sit is the pigment starts to adhere to the skin so when you spread it, most of the pigment stays where you placed it and the other ingredients help spread the rest of the pigment to be blended out.

I have stone cold fox and love it. It took a while for me to like it though, for some reason I couldn’t figure out the colors but once I did, wow! it turns out so many amazing looks!
A great summer treat is to get a pineapple 🍍 cut it in bigger pieces and freeze it then use a grater to shave it add some toasted coconut and just a little drizzle of sweetened condensed milk 😘 perfection or even a little Coco Lopez instead of the sweetened condensed milk thats also good ♥️

Those strawberry bars are our favorite! Walmart has an ice cream cake made of that exact ice cream bar and it's AMAZING!!! If you try it you have to let me know what you think! You find it in the freezer by the bakery/fresh bread section.
Not only does it have the crunch on the outside, but the center is filled with a crunch as well 😍

Today is the 40th birthday of the love of my life who unfortunately passed away suddenly several years ago. Last night was very difficult as i kept trying to imagine how he'd look with grey hairs peppered throughout his head. Anyway, its always hard to get my mind off of my grief on days like this. But i usually try watching movies or TH-cam.

Emily, you are one of my favorite makeup influencers to watch. You are so down to earth. I, too, love, colour pop shadows.
I'm with you Em. I could knock out a nice look in 10-15 minutes, but I just really enjoy the process and tend to not time myself (unless I have to due to obligations/poor time management). I wish I had the space to store those large palettes because there are at least 2 or 3 that I would use every👏single👏day.
i definitely AGREE - Most brands CANNOT do big palettes but Colourpop manages to put their good formula to use, the mattes are all great.. the colors arent as repetitive and there are several mega palettes with unique color stories not the same repetitive rainbow big palette. I loveee this one and have been debating getting it but i think this video just convinced me haha
I went in the submarine at Disneyland as a child. That's the only one I'd ever consider, but the Titan story has really been heavy on my heart too. I've never had to block so many people on social media as I have in the past week. I can't understand the people making jokes about this tragedy. It breaks my heart for the families.

Love Colourpops larger palettes ~ $35.00 for 30 shades isn't too bad at all! I've got Rock Candy, and really enjoy that one too.🥂💃🏼 the only time I've been in a "submarine" is the Disneyland ride when I was a kid, and it freaked me out. Didn't like it at all..felt like I couldn't breathe.

I had a pet raccoon named Bandit & she was the best pet ever! She slept in our house in the winter, she walked on a leash and played peek-a-boo and danced on her back legs! She was awesome!

I've toured several retired, and one non-retired, military subs, and even the largest one gave me SUCH a sense of claustrophobia. My husband is 6'4", and I have no idea how he fit into ANY of them. I read that one of the captains of one of them is/ was 6'5", and I'm just wondering how he had to fold himself into the boat to fit. Like some serious corporeal origami, there. (That sounds like a band...)
Submarine: yes been in one. I have claustrophobia so it was horrific, and I'd never do it again, but I was forced to. I cannot imagine how strong someone has to be to mentally prepare and even enjoy a small death tube with such few comforts. I guess some people like that stuff though.

Love that palette! Great color story. Also answering your question. I toured a Navy sub one year during Fleet Week in San Diego. It was pretty neat to see. The one thing I distinctly remember is how close together everything is with very little walking space and so on. Very tight quarters.

Nothing more then a warm look 👀 to look at. This palette 🎨 is very pretty. First of all kids lol always find swings or other things to do outside in the blaring sun ☀️ while we as parents try to get in the shade 😂. Second no I wouldn’t want to get in a submarine and go underwater. So sad 😞 for the family and how ironic it is that this tragedy 🎭 happened around the titanic. Hi Em! I’ve been in a submarine!! I live in Portland Oregon and during the Rose Festival (a yearly festival we have beginning end of May to late June) we will have lots of Naval ships docking here and submarines sometimes, too. You can tour them and what I remember most was how small it was and how cramped and close quarters it was. There’s no way on Gods green Earth you’d get me on one that was headed out into the ocean. I could barely handle being inside it near dry land. I wanted out the whole time I was in it. I almost had a huge anxiety attack and would have left the group to leave except I know I would have gotten lost and freaked out.
You definitely have to be a certain kind of person to live on one for several months, under the ocean, with 100 other dudes. No thanks!

Hi Em! Coming to the comments in defense of pet raccons 😂 Growing up i had one, its mom had gotten run over on the highway and my dad saw the baby huddling next to the body and brought it home. I bottle fed him, and he survived to be the best pet i have ever had. He was the best mix of a kitten, puppy, and monkey. Haha! I lived on acreage bordering a large amount of foresty land and a large pond. The coon enjoyed every tomboy kid related activity with me and we would climb trees, fish, swim, canoe, and camp out in the yard together. He was always down to play and rough house, and would sit on my shoulder while i rode my bike. He would even hide around corners and wait for me to get close to jump out and attack(playfully of course). I was a lonely kid having no siblings, so my coon pal was my bff. Highly recommend 👌 I live in an area that hasnt had a case of rabies in many decades though, so that was much less of a concern than it might be in other places. Thanks for bringing me some laughs and good memories this morning.❤ PS i would have to agree that a raccoon would probably not make a good submarine copilot though😅

I have been in a docked submarine. An old retired one. It was amazing but SO, SO cramped. I could not believe that like 30+ men as well as all of their gear, food and equipment would live in those small quarters together for months on end. I am so grateful we have people willing to do that type of work but I could never EVER!
You should probably do a meal plan section. Dining at Disney has become kinda crazy. We went 2 years ago and had to mobile order EVERYTHING!!

You can have some of our rain!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our in-ground pool is still at 78 degrees and we have a very nice solar cover on it. Our grandbabies have gotten to swim 1 DAY so far and we usually are at about 88-90 water temps by now! I can not take it and I want it to stop!!!

I've never been in a submarine...and I could never. I'm so claustrophobic that being in an elevator full of people freaks me out!! 😂 I love ColourPop as a choice because it's high end but reasonably priced. And I just want to compliment your shadow application today, extending that outer edge really gave your eyes a pretty almond shape! I need to try that! Thanks for the inspiration- I also have to try more NYX especially the can't stop won't stop line because longevity is everything in my world. I have long days and feel like I've been to war the way my makeup has faded... especially in these warm summer months.
