thanks for the feedback! audio with davinci kinda sucks, i had to lower every thing in the first version because it originally was so loud your ears would start to hurt since davinci kinda sucks lol

Dude when I first learned P-ranking was a thing, it was on a level where I took no damage, so I thought to get a P-rank I HAD to take no damage. After watching this I could never have pulled that off with my 30 or so odd hours (I’d still have problems now tbh)

Nice job! I attempted this challenge myself, but was only able to get to 5-1 before I got too frustrated to progress. Hopefully you’ll be able to get through it!
im most worried about stages like 4-2, 4-3, 5-1, 6-1 and p-2 for obvious reasons since some of those rooms seem impossible lmao

Considering how extremely possible this is, it's great to actually see someone try to do it! Good on you for doing it on Violent with a fresh save too by the way, even if it is just the prelude. I look forward to when you continue this!

Funnily enough I've recently P-ranked prelude without damage) And for whatever reason I've decided to spend like 3 hours to kill a swordmachine using deadcoining + coin punching when I could've just parry him to death))

Honestly when I first played Ultrakill, I knew that P-ranking without taking a damage is possible but will take a while. few months later someone uploaded a video of doing what I said except in under an hour, which is impressive (this was before the Violent Night update), though i never seen someone do the entire P-Rank Damageless% with a new save file, so seeing this video interested me on how you doing.

went back to your no damage vids to check on how to do 1-3 no damage then realized there are no tips you just get good at touhou and then decided to check up if you also suffered on 0-5 like me, which you didnt i think, i suffered on 0-1 more than 0-2, 0-3 and 0-4 lol
0-5 took me like half an hour i think, but 0-3 was easily the hardest stage of the layer
@@azthtj yeah, 0-5 took me around the same time, 0-3 was pretty easy for me but its prob cuz i decided to keep the shotgun and constantly dodge swordsmachine no matter what

I am glad someone else is attempting this challenge, I have done most levels but am missing 7-2, 7-3, and p-2, by far the hardest level was 5-3 but I did eventually beat it, I have a playlist of completions but I am not sure what the rules are for self promotion

@@azthtj I actually finally did 7-1 yesterday, I got through the second large arena like 5 times then dies to the Minotaur in stupid ways, I am starting 7-2 and it is not nearly as difficult as 7-1, for difficulty p-2 would be pretty easy without the double mind-flayer room, I have no hit the rest of the level, but i am scared of the final room in 7-3 more than the other levels

The answer is yes, but it’s hard as hell.
Ultrakill but v1 is made of paper
After you get the green railcannon, you can instakill a maurice by by screwdriving it at point blank and immediately punching it. There are many maurice instakills but this is my favourite method
right now my strats are either sharpshooter the projectiles, or railcannon then charge slab then just two more normal revolver shots
being too up close to maurices is deadly because their projectiles just spam everywhere and it sucks, ill keep that in mind though
Yeah that is true, it's a good strat if you see their charging tho, because you have a safe window where there will be no projectiles. So it might be good to keep in mind in later levels since the sharpshooter is hard to set up (at least in my opinion). Also, you can wait before punching the screwdriver if you want, as long as you punch it before it runs out. Hope this helps!@@azthtj

Can you please tell me how to P ranked 0-2 without fighting the swordsmachine? I keep getting an A rank on time because I always have to go back there to get 53 enemies
youre missing an enemy, might be in the first room because theres 2 strays in the starting room

I wonder why these kinds of runs don’t use a 1hp mod so you know you took damage at any point?
i mean its pretty easy to tell, theres a hurt sound, theres the screen effect, and the healthbar going down are super easy to see (plus its usually pretty obvious when you get hit most of the time)

too scared to, i lost so many runs to that thing and enraging it was not the thing i wanted to do
@@azthtjyeah, it sounds fair, but the stun that parry gives + shotgun swap is almost a secure kill every time
@@NotTheGian the swordmachine in 0-3 has more health than in p2 or cry for the weeper so its not as safe iirc
@@azthtjyeah, the stunlock moment is now enough to lower his life, maybe a ultraricoshot would be something abe to lower his health with that much risk
I tried this a year ago, it wasn’t really hard honestly. Just time consuming and exhausting. I got to 3-1 then I got bored and never did it again
well to be fair the second half of the game is definitely harder than the first so i dont know
