I love Scythe the board game and I can confidentially say digital Scythe works perfectly. But I also understand how coming into it cold would be difficult. There is an undo button. You can set it to undue either the latest action or all actions in your turn. While Scythe is complex, you can only do one action per turn so it is not overwhelming once you understand the basics. The key is understanding the different factions and the different economies. Polonia - which you played - for example gets to pick two options instead of one when it moves its character counter on an encounter, the little yellow and green stars. Make sure you click the button that prevents the game from matching certain factions and economies because they are too powerful. I won't try to explain the whole game, but it is great.
I am sure the game is great if you want to spend the time to really learn the ins and outs. But this is Strategy for Busy People, not Strategy for People Who Want to Dedicate Countless Hours :)
Its on sale for 4.19 on steam right now so your review helped me a lot. Thanks a bunch!
That's what I'm here for!
