Pelican was on Zeta last year! He was signed after stage 2 and often played Echo, Pharah, and Genji even after being signed. On top of switching over to Tracer when needed. He didn't play 100% of the time but he did get a fair amount of play. He came in about the same time as Fearless
Finally some good news... I was so sad to see Smurf retire, and multiple players have said 2025 will be the their last year competing, so i'm still sad about that, but i'm glad i get to watch them play at least one more time.
My only complaint with the live events is that I'll probably sleep through them again, but honestly, I really can't wait to see how this season plays out!
Everyone is definitely underrating Cjay, he is definitely on the same level as UV and Rupal. He was a major part of Stage 1 Timeless and Stage 3&4 NTMR successes. Even the most of Toronto said in an interview that Cjay was probably one of the top players in NA.
Mer1t is taking a break for stage one, nobody knows where Someone is Toronto Defiant didn't apply for partnership, they were going to leave anyways Cloud9 was originally going to be the 3rd partner team over NRG, before they backed out. And with no other options, Blizzard just gave the spot to Zeta If you want the rumored rosters: GenG-Mag/Sauna/Topdragon/Crispy/Khenail Virtus.pro-Vestola/SHockWave/Jaewoo/Galaa/FiXa Team Liquid-Infekted/KNIFE/Tr33/Vega/Rupal Those are all subject to change though
There seems to be a trend of a lot of the old heads coming back, which is pretty good to see that their still invested in the scene even after all these years. Plus I get two of my former shock boys back which will be great
As a Panthers and Titans fan, architect jumping on the chandelier during the grand finals is like Cam Newton not jumping on the ball in the SuperBowl. It was backbreaking and there was no fight in either after that.
Always my goat. I barely follow OW eSports anymore since OWL but always watch your videos. Gonna try get back into OWCS this season, just need to pikc a team lmao.
Curious to have such low expectations about Team Peps while they happened to be seed two after swiss rounds, barely losing only to The Ultimates which may be the strongest EU roster, and qualify in the winner bracket facing strong opponents... I'd agree nonetheless that they've been great on the meta without hero bans, but when it came to adapt more, they struggled a bit. But still, Soon is far from being washed up and the team as a whole has a lot of potential !
Oh and Al Qadish, the Saudi team with Landon, Tred and Haku, that's where Junk Buk went actually! So they could be a surprise contender. Anywhere Junk has gone, he's found a lot of success
Genuinely believe CR could have the perfect season and win everything without dropping a single match series this year, whether it's domestically or at lan.
@@MonkeyBanjo7 what makes the most sense to me (and this is what commanderx said makes the most sense probably) is that merit and someone did sign with T1, they then left t1 for falcons bcuz falcons presumably offered them a huge bag, but they have a non compete clause in their T1 contract which means they can’t play in stage 1, so they don’t compete with t1. I would be so surprised to see them in China, they wouldn’t slot in to OA whatsoever and the rest of China is not good enough to be internationally competitive at their level, so I think what CX said is the most reasonable and likely
No US-based LAN events are something I don't like IMO. Many popular content creators live and are from the US and want to bring attention to it and you shouldn't really be neglecting it any year, Blizzard is a US company. Not to mention the watching hours are gonna be absolutely awful. It feels more and more and more that OW Esports is getting offshored.
Next day update: virtus pro roster is confirmed to be Vestola, shockwave, Jaewoo, galaa, and fixa

I completely forgot, it’s been too long 😅
McD is going to play out of his damn mind and make it to a major just to beat a Chinese team
Lol
😭😭😭
Hitori looks like she might have insane upside she was clearly one of the best tanks in the qualifier
Pelican actually was signed to ZETA the whole Asia stage 2, and often played over alphayi
Its been a while since I've seen OW esports after being addicted to Marvel Rivals recently. Good to see you in my recommended atp
I really appreciate it! I’m with you there though, marvel rivals is very fun 😅

It’s kinda funny how at the end you celebrated China’s return, meanwhile showed decay absolutely styling on spark as background footage lmao

@@aSuperPi. I agree he is underrated, but not on Rupals level tho lol
Where TF are someone and merit?
Rumors is that they are going to team falcon to replace Smurf, Hanbin and stalker but ig not anymore

So glad to see faith back in an english speaking team, i think that's where he'll get the credit he deserves, he easily has one of the best brigs ever

There’s no English broadcast for the Korean games… as well as specified channel to view. Why do they make it so hard to follow?
atp you gotta need to know that oa replaced lengsa with yveltal, and lige and lliko joined them as well, making this team more comprehensive

Landon and Checkmatw team up!!! I remember they had good synergy I think on Geekay Esports they finished 2nd losing to TM 4-2 in Saudi e league 2023.
Chinese Overwatch is back and some legendary orgs maybe we actually get a competitor for Korea
Genuinely believe CR could have the perfect season and win everything without dropping a single match series this year, whether it's domestically or at lan.
We are so back
no mention of the rumors that mer1t and someone are potentially on falcons?
theyre rumors not much to mention
A lot of people expected them to be on T1 they were not so Ig ppl are expecting them to be on falcons which is a huge rumor or their playing in china
@@kaiwinter7542 he mentioned other rumors 🤷♂️

mer1t already said on his discord he was taking stage 1 off.
Someone, no one knows.
2 spots on china is necessary to revive its competitiveness tbh. But hopefully this will open the gate for spots for Asia later on
SOOOOOOOOOON!
Once Again is still dominating China with most of the HZ Spark core(with Mew replacing Mmonk)
thanks the the updates
I dont know who to support anymore probably gonna be the ultimates
I don’t know if you know this but Toronto didn’t even apply for the partnership program
i woudve loved to see ntmr owcs skins, they would look super interesting
I thought Skewed was a brig otp
China is mostly the old Spark team but they are good.
SOOOOOOOOON.
yeah there was 0 chance that fielder was swapping teams without chiyo.. i did NOT buy into those rumors at all
i dont think you'll ever see those 2 on separate teams again
wait, what about infekted?
Probably on Team Liquid
No Rakattack?
what about Japan?
all cod-siah
Lol all the sponsered teams in EU about to get smacked by an unspobsered team. Pretty funny
liquid squad!!!
Toronto defiant left overwatch maybe thats why no ?
I thought pelican went to TL?
Opted to remain with Zeta instead I guess. Team Liquid is rumored to have KNIFE now
@cave_carrot2920 what happened to his contract with cr
@greendragoon3149 He left CR awhile back, so I assume any leftover contract didn't really mean anything
@cave_carrot2920 smh
MFC back baby and with Colourhex!!!! Www
underrating AQ
Still no china?!
Marvel rivals content when???

If this is what Blizzard decided on, there‘s probably a reason for it…..
First
who tf cares, OW is dying.
no way you saw the thumbnail, watched an advert and then decided to leave that comment 😂
oW iS dYiNg 🤡
