Literally gifted my pops this for his birthday. Granted he’s 71, but I’m in 30s and love it too. People say it’s dated, but it’s CLASSIC! That clean spicy lavender mixed with bergamot last and last!
Not that you care since you said you wear what you want, when you want (as you should), but the term "Pour Homme" literally means "For Men" in French so it's definitely a masculine fragrance. I own this and it is indeed wonderful. It's quite musky to my nose.
@gianfrancoceppi7916 BdP opens with much more citrus than the Lalique PH. The bergamot is zesty and very natural with BdP. Very nice. But already fairly noticeable differences between BdP and the Lalique Pour Homme lion. Lalique PH has a somewhat different scent profile, and dare I say it's own je nais se qua that even BdP doesn't have. Close, but each stand on their own.
funny that you mentioned you don't like iris. i'm the exact opposite. valentino uomo intense is one of, if not, the absolute favorite fragrance in my collection. i want to eventually get my hands on dior pour homme and givenchy gentleman as well.
It's so funny because it's one of my favorite notes now- I have a backup bottle of VUI and I have mostly all of the iris heavy scents (lipsticky, not powdery)
@@GlamFinds I believe it. Old school stuff is great in its way of being more straight forward and punchy, don't you think? Besides, there is proof that old school stuff can even be refreshed by blends like Beau de Jour or Fougere D'Argent.

Yeah, I have it but I honestly don't like it. I think the vetiver in it smells a little too dirty for me. If you like really dark fragrances, you might like it though.
@@rachorachobark3883 it's very specific, more niche than designer for sure. I'm keeping my bottle because my taste seems to change with time so I'm thinking that it might grow on me like Ferrari bright neroli (I didn't like it at first).

Yeah, marketed for men and is more of a traditional men's fragrance. Either way, I reach for this and whatever else I want lol

i found this to be true with the EDT, but the EDP lasts quite a while for me. all about body chemistry though.
It is similar to Creed Bois du Portugal but there are differences. I own both.

Stoked you like it Sarah. I still wear the edp quite often, but ESPECIALLY around old people 🤣 Legit, it's like catnip to them.
Lol I love that! I honestly didn't think it would still be wearable but it's a really pleasant scent, and I absolutely love the opening 😊
Actually the iris makes this a bit powdery. Just enough to make it very wearable by a lady... with a bit of a sparkle in her personality.

Yes! They're different! I still haven't gotten my hands on the other bottle yet

Clean, I like it, but it's mildly reminiscent of older stuff and not completely modern
